I seem to remember the nacho plate in Big River as not being very good and I don't know if we've ever ordered one at the ESPN Club. What we like with a cold one is a big nacho platter with the cheese, salsa and other goodies layered right in it and heated. Where, anywhere in WDW, can we get this?

Thanks,

My DW personally likes the nachos at the Cantina de San Angel. It nice to snack on the nachos while sipping a cold one. Sitting lakeside is also an advantage.

I personally love the one from ESPN Club as well as the one from the Cantina, but I do not discriminate against 'cheese food'! :rolleyes1

I really liked the nachos at ESPN club...really the only thing I love there.

Thanks for the replies. Our upcoming trip will have us at the BoardWalk for the third straight year, don't know how we missed them at ESPN before, I only remember not caring for the Big River offering. We often graze around WS so the Cantina works for us and we've yet to visit Whispering Canyon so we'll put that on our Resort Hopping schedule next time.

You should try them for yourself, but I thought the nachos at the cantina were pretty mediocre. I did enjoy the nacho appetizer in the San Angel Inn (only thing I loved there :goodvibes ).

I am in agreement with the 2 pp's who said that the nachos from Cantina (CS in Mexico) were mediocre. I actually feel that mediocre is being generous.

If you are looking for a BIG plate of nachos for only a CS credit then go to Pepper Market. I really enjoyed mine.

The nachos at ESPN used to be the best nachos anywhere, however like many things at WDW lately, they have changed. The past 2 times I have had them (July and Dec) the real melted gooey cheese has been replaced with the fake cheese sauce, like you get at sports stadiums or counter service meals. I know when I reported that back in Dec someone on the boards suggested asking if they could use real cheese. I tried that when I went back in July but was told no, they could not do that. This is a HUGE disappointment.

I agree the Cantina is mediocre.

Right now I would say the best nachos are the ones on the standardized bar menus. I think I had them last at the River Roost at POR. They are covered with real cheese and delicious. If I were looking for nachos I would make a ponit to go to one of the bars over ESPN...and we are a family of sports fans. :thumbsup2

The nachos at WCC were awesome, like a meal in themselves! If that's the only reason you're going there, make sure they're still on the menu before you make the ADR, I though they were taken off after out last trip (May 07), but they may not have been.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but this is a vacation highlight for us:)

You'll find these at the Pepper Market in the Coronado Springs resort, and its worth the trip:drive:

I've only ever tried the one at ESPN, but it was really good!
