My 7 y/o DD LOVES mussels and makes a game out of finding the best mussels when we eat out. Where can we find the "best" mussels in WDW? Thanks!

SIDENOTE: I was surprised not to find them on the menu at Chefs de France since it's a pretty traditional French bistro meal.

Although they weren't gourmet, they were plentiful on the Cape May Buffet. DH ate his weight in them the last time we were there.

In Nov. of 2015 my mussel-loving then 13yo DS got them at five restaurants and ranked his favorites in order: Restaurant Marrakesh, Narcoossee's, BOG, Fultons Crab House and for the life of me I can't remember who took last place :scratchin On our most recent trip last month he again raved about the mussels at Narcoossee's. BOG changed the sauce theirs come in and he didn't like it as much; he ate at Cape May for the first time and thought their mussels were too chewy.
He did have the mussels at Il Mulino on a trip last year and thought they were very good, too!

I saw a post once on Facebook from a mother who took her young daughter (about 7 or so) to Le Cellier, and her daughter LOVED the mussels!

Trattoria Al Forno!! On the boardwalk. Great bread for dipping in the amazing sauce.

My husband and I go and get the mussels and a bottle of Barolo. Heaven

My favorite mussels are the flash fried mussels at Nomad Lounge in AK. It is just the best location. Be sure to get the Tiffin's Bread service and a fancy drink (NA too) and sit outside overlooking the Pandora bridge.

Please tell me Le Cellier's are good, also Tiffins. We are booked there and my son is hopeful he will love them.

Narcoossee's, Il Mulino, Trattoria al Forno, and Artist Point (but steamed with clams) have all been good. Hard to rank since I may only do one of these restaurants per trip.

I LOVE that my DD is not the only kiddo on a mission for good mussels! Thanks for the ranking.

The ones at Cape May are in a garlic sauce with cherry tomatoes and have really great flavor.

Cape May's close to us, too! Good to hear they are tasty - I was worried about the fact that it's a buffet.

The best mussels at Disney World are in MK on Gaston.

Haha....ha...mussels....muscles....I apologize, I couldn't resist.

I just love that at Disney you can take kids to some of the more fine dining locations!

Wonderful! I'd already planned on and afternoon break at Nomad Lounge so I'm happy to hear they have good muscles and that you can get the Tiffin's bread service there. Can't wait to try it!

Thanks! Yeah, we'll probably only do a few of the signatures so it's super helpful to get some intelligence now so we can choose wisely!

Remember that you can ask for the appetizer menu for Tiffin's when you eat at Nomad Lounge
