we are rebooking our trip to disney had to cancel this years trip due to death in family is it better to go the first 2 weeks in oct or november my niece is afraid it will be raining then anyone know I would like to avoid jersy week thanks

We went in the last week of September last year, and it was scorching hot. Well into the 90's every day. We had a little drizzle, but nothing much at all. Of those two times you list, I'd vote for the beginning of November since the weather is a little milder.

we want to avoid huge crowds jersy week and soaps are the first two weeks in november heat not bad we are leaning towards end of sept or early oct much will depend on our being able to rebook our airline tickets we have until mid jan to do so which doesn't leave us much time to choose thanx brooklyn

I think either month would be nice to go..If you go in October, you can go to MNSSHP..weather is nice, not too crowded
We were just in WDW 11/27-12-2 and it was nice..low crowds and all the Christmas decorations were up and MVMCP was going on.

I live in Florida and September/October can be tricky. The weather is the main factor. That is Hurricane season. The absolute best time to go is the first two weeks of December. The crowds are low, the weather fantastic, and everything is decorated for the holidays. Check the boards for events next year, and you can get an idea of the crowds. Either way you will have a great time!:wizard:

we went Nov 9th-12th weather was great. Yes is was Jersey week, food at EPCOT and soap week. Only really big crowds were at MGM & EPCOT.
I thought this was the best time. We over packed though:confused3 . Never needed to wear pants of sweatshirts, just wore shorts tees, and carried a light jacket.
MGM was packed to the gills when we got there in the pm. Securty guard told us as we were that there were 3,000 people waiting in line at 6:30am to get in. they pretty much stayed around the hub of soap.

:confused3

I have never heard of this. Just wondering what it is and when it happens. We are considering a trip in Oct. of beg. of Nov. Thanks!

There is a teacher's convention that closes the schools (usually) the first week in November...Election Day is the Tuesday, then schools are closed Thursday and Friday. A lot of people pull the kids out of school that week for vacation since they'd only be missing 2 days and they can go away with lower crowds than the real "holiday" weeks.

We went in October, weather was perfect, low crowds, and the MNSSHP going on (fun for little ones)

Have you considered Late May or early June? The crowds are not that bad and the temp is only in the low 80's. We went the last week of May last year after school let out and it was great. The lines were pretty short and the temp was comfortable.

I am booked for Sept 28 to Oct 5 2007, I am hoping the crowds are low and the weather is good. Either way we will have a great time.:)

thanks for all the help we make are choice by the end of next week at our family meeting with the adults so we can tell the kids next month at disney on ice we are leaning towards end of sept begining of oct much will depend on airline rebooking we have until the 25th to do that or we loose our tickets thanks again Brooklyn what is MNSSHP????????????

Mikey's Not So Scary Halloween Party - it's a seperate ticketed event a few nights/week at Magic Kingdom. We went and it was really fun. There's a thread in here somewhere that has all of the info and pictures.

We've gone early Oct for the last few years and love it! The weather is still warm and the crowds are usually low. We've been lucky with the weather, only missing 1/2 day due to a hurricane in 2005. We love MNSSHP and the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot!
