Best monorail hotel for May, 2025 with least pool construction going on?

I am going to Disney May 16 and wanted to book a monorail hotel. I got the Contemporary because the Poly seemed to have so much construction still going on, but I just read on the rumors thread that not only is the BLT pool closed, but also the “quiet” pool at the Contemporary Resort? It’s getting very difficult to choose a hotel that doesn’t have closed amenities anymore, IMO. Anyone know anything about which monorail resort would be my best choice?

The rumors thread? Is this verified on the hotel thread under the resorts board where people report the current state of stays at the resort? Disney doesn't state there is any pool refurb happening this year at CR on their website and they usually share that info as it is vital to most travelers...

It’s on the rumors thread, but the cast member making the reservation for me at Disney mentioned construction and was I ok with that. I thought she meant the BLT construction, because that’s been ongoing for a while now.

The pool at BLT is getting refurbed in 2026 per the website. If you are saying at CR then you can’t use the BLT pool anyway, so won’t matter so much if that one is down.

When I was at poly the other week the splash pad was closed I’ve heard mix things when it’s reopening. The pools are both open there.

Good point @FSU Girl. Yes the Kiki Tiki Spash pad by the Lava Pool is being refurbished but it should reopen before March 1st. Also the new Moana Splash pad is open at the Island Tower.
