ok, I'll admit it, up till now, I have been a dvc and concierge snob. But the way our Easter week vacation plans are winding down, looks like we will have to stay in a ...gasp..... moderate...for 2 nights. Just kidding folks, I've heard that they are really lovely and a great value. If you would just point me in the direction of your favorite, and what section to request, I would so appreciate it! Many thanks, Eileen

I personally love POR, particularly the Magnolia Bend (mansions) section. Since Riverside has a boatride to DTD, carriage rides, and (almost) nightly entertainment, it's almost as good as a deluxe, just at a cheaper price. Check out the Resort FAQ at the top of the Resorts page for more info about it, and other moderates.

CSR has the best pool of all the mods and doesn't share transportation with other resorts. Check out my website below

We personally love Coronado Springs for many reasons!! The whole resort is beautiful. Paths to walk with all kinds of flowers, plants, cactus, critters to look at and enjoy. Three differently themed areas for all tastes. (our new favorite is ranchos) A great foodcourt(imo),plus a wonderful sitdown restaurant. There are boat rentals, bike and surrey rentals, great for an evening stroll around the lake to see all the lights sparkling off the water!! And our favorite, the pool and slide on the digsite. So much fun for all ages. There are also 2 arcades if you have kids. Love the CSR!!::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes::

I vote for the POR, Magnolia Bend (I've never stayed at the CSR). The grounds are nice to walk around and the boat to DTD is a relaxing way to get around (it also makes it convenient to more dining options).

I've stayed at all the moderates except PO. My favorites are the CSR and POR. POR i love because of the theme, I love the Old South theme and I love the food court which is inside a cotton mill. The only downside to POR is the loss of the Dixielandings name.

CSR is a beautiful resort with diverse rooming areas. The only downside to CSR is the pepper market which I find to be lacking in food I like since I am a bit of a picky eater.

All of the moderates except PO are huge and you feel like you are walking across Epcot just to get to the main lobby/foodcourt.

I prefer the tropical theme of the CBR. DH and I stayed there for our honeymoon and loved it! We were in Aruba which was just a short walk across a bridge from the food court. The main pool is really fun and has nice bar area. We always had the quiet pool to ourselves which was nice. At night you can hang out in the hammocks and watch the fireworks at Epcot. We found the bus service to be very efficient. Even though it is a large resort, it never seemed crowded. This would be my first choice.

My second choice would be POR. My mom and I stayed there in Oct. 2002. We had a great time. The mansions are gorgeous and you cannot beat the boat ride to DTD. We were in Alligator Bayou in building 15, which is very close to the food court. It was so nice to be able to wake up and take a stroll by the riverside. Very relaxing!

Hi,

I'd say POR or POFQ!! I've stayed @ POR twice & love it!! I've heard POFQ is very nice. Good luck!

Allison

My choice is CSR.

Biggest hot tub. High speed internet access. Longest water slide. Health Club. Beauty Salon. The buses don't stop at any other resort.

We love the Port Orleans River Side. Its a great place to stay! It is in an excellent location! The rooms are great, prices are great, and the people are truely magical. WE LOVE IT!::MickeyMo
