We are deciding on a resort for July and it may come down to the food court! Help us out :)
Thanks!

Hello,

IMO Port Orleans Riverside has the best food Court. Followed by POFQ then CS and CB.

I love the POR food court. In fact, even when we haven't stayed there, we made it a point to go there and eat a meal! :thumbsup2 We will be at FQ in a little over a week and part of our reason for choosing this resort is that it is so close to POR.

There's Mara, the food court at Animal Kingdom. POR has quite a selection and the food is good. You could also head down to Downtown Disney and do the Earl of Sandwich or Pollo Camperro (grilled and fried chicken w/ beans and rice)

I'm jumping on the bandwagon for this one...I've stayed at all the mods except for the French Quarter half of Port Orleans and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Port Orleans Riverside's food court. I can get my Mickey waffles there!!!

Have to agree with POR. I've never actually stayed there but have eaten there several times. The design your own Pasta station is a great deal. Last time I went to Mara I thought they had cut back on their offerings compared to other times. CS has a lot to choose from but most of it is just so-so IMO and I don't like the service charge for them bringing your drinks. I've never actually eaten at CBR so I don't know what all they serve. For the values POP has a decent food court with ASMo as my second choice.

We've stayed and eaten at all the Moderate resorts. Our favorite is PO Riverside as well. PO FQ is a close 2nd place.

Port Orleans!!! by far!! I enjoyed both R and FQ....typically I don't care for resort fc food. Loved both! R has a make your own pasta station, and FQ had this yummy philly cheesesteak!

DH and I recently stayed at POP for 9 nights, with free QSDP. We went to POR for dinner twice. We each had something different each night and enjoyed it all. The portions are huge. We would have shared some meals, but we had to use the credits. He had a 'create your own salad' and a hamburger (the only one of the trip). I had 'create your own pasta' and chicken nuggets. There were so many choices and it was never crowded.

I really liked to CBR Food court, Just like how it's laid out and the food quality was great. :yay:

I've only ate at Coronado Springs and CBR but out of those 2 I really liked CBR alot more. I loved their Beef and Blue sandwich-roast beef and blue cheese. It was excellent!! And kids got their meal in a sand pail-they loved it!!

We have never stayed at POFQ, but of the ones we stayed at, POR was our favorite, with CBR second. We loved the make your own pasta station.

We stayed at POR on DxDP but still ate several meals at the POR food court. Love the make your own pasta station and also the make your own omelette station at breakfast. It's also nice being close to POFQ because we took a stroll over there one morning and got chocolate chip pancakes and beignets, which are not available at POR :thumbsup2

Another vote for POR - even though we now stay at the DVC resorts, we also make it a point to have at least one meal there.

POR is the best--I even walked over there when we stayed at FQ.
CS was not bad but I didn't like that they make you get your food but you still have to tip a waitress for a few other services that you could have also done yourself.
Worst Deluxe FC was AK Lodge--poor food and very crowded, loud.

Love POFQ, nice selection, plenty of seating and yummy food, especially those beignets!

I am on the POR food court bandwagon too. Create your own pasta rocks! Another dining related thing I love about POR is the boat to Downtown Disney. My family loves riding the boat to go have dinner. It is just so much better than a bus!

POR and POFQ are the only places I stay. If you're at one, you're welcome to all the amenities of the other, and only 10-15 walk in-between. Also, hop on a boat from POR or POFQ to DTD and go to Wolfgang Puck CS or Earl of Sandwich CS, the two best CS places in WDW (IMO).

When returning from the park, if staying for example at POFQ, take the POR bus back, stop at their food court, then walk or boat back to POFQ. Don't forget to catch the live shows, Yehaa Bob at POR and Eliot Dyson at POFQ. You can get food court meals and bring them in to the show. We've done it. It's very casual and family-friendly.
