They are incredibly thick and perfect for a hot day. Going to Sci-Fi for lunch is a great break from the heat and son. My favorite shake is chocolate!

I am definitely not an oreo fan, but the cookies and cream milkshake was to die for! There were no large cookie pieces so you didn't get that oreo taste. And it was certainly thick!! I think I had to start eating it with a spoon until it softened up a bit!! But it was perfectly blended with no clumps. They seemed to have took their time in making it.

Unlike Beaches and Cream, the shakes at Sci-Fi are out of a machine (made from a mix) like at McDonalds. They still might taste refreshing to many people on a hot day, but there are some folks that would want to know this.

I did not know this. I'm sure they are still good But, I would have been quite disappointed if I was expecteding a hand-dipped shake...thanks for the heads up!!

I like the shakes there too even if they are made from a mix. Watching the old cheesey movies on the screen is a nice break from the afternoon heat.
