Hi,
My son *loves* interacting with Chip & Dale...our favorite place to see them *was* Liberty Tree Tavern...Now, I need to decide where to go to see Chip & Dale on our next trip. What is your favorite place to see them? Please share experiences. THanks!!

There is only one option for dining with Chip & Dale - Garden Grill at Epcot.

We like it a lot. The food is decent (turkey, beef, fish, sides) and the characters have always been a lot of fun.

It is only open for dinner.

Garden Grill and I believe you can also catch them at Chef Mickeys once in a while (breakfast?)

Garden Grill is an excellent choice for dinner! The character interaction was the best of our entire trip! Loved it! We saw the characters about four times a piece and they were not in a rush to leave. Chip and Dale really were great! I loved that they took the time to play and interact with my daughter - she was having her 1st birthday celebration at the restaurant.

The food was also very good. I really loved the salad. I ate so much of it. :rotfl2: While my husband was huge fan of the dessert. Our server was fantastic. We felt she really cared about what was going on at our table and that she was going above and beyond a typical server. We even asked her to be in our daughter's birthday picture with Pluto. :goodvibes I can't wait to go back next year.

We are staying at fort wilderness, and I understand that they have a campfire sing-a-long over there at night. That should be fun!:thumbsup2

Chip 'n Dale were great at Garden Grill, and it's also fun to see Farmer Mickey. So yeah if you're big Chip 'n Dale fans that is the place to go. Plus, the rotating restaurant shows you portions of the Living with the Land ride, which is sort of fun.

That said, not a fan to return to Garden Grill because of the food. The salad was fantastic and the kids' desserts (decorate your own cupcakes) were fun, but the family-style platter is just okay. Not bad, just not our favorite place to eat.

Chip n Dale used to be at Chef Mickey's years ago, but as of now the only character meal where they appear regularly is Garden Grill. The current characters at CM are Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy & Pluto.

Don't know if they still appear there, but our favorite place that we saw them was Cape May Cafe.

We enjoy the GG...It is a change from the buffet meals...The food is fresh, NOT FANCY...They are good about bringing tons of extra food that you are enjoying...The kids really love the character interaction there...The three times we have been we had characters come around twice...The dessert is really yummy...We go because it is on the dining plan but we would not go if we had to pay OOP because it is expensive for not so expensive food...

Ask to sit in the bottom ring...They have these nice booths that make you feel like you are the only group there and you get to see the sceens of The Land ride as they go by...We did not like sitting in the top ring.

Yes, that was my thought as well. I just don't know what the interaction is with Chip & Dale there. After the campfire sing-a-long (marshmallow roast & s'mores), there is a movie played as well.

Kind of really wanted to go there, but just cannot fit it into our schedule.. :sad2:

They were booted out of Cape May for Donald Duck... personally I love Donald but I haven't been back to Cape May.

Thanks! Sounds like we'll be heading to the Garden Grill. (We had been to Chef Mickey's, but it was years ago -- and Chip & Dale were there, so I didnt realize they werent anymore) Campfire sounds fun, but trickier to fit into scheduling...

Thanks again for the feedback!

DH and I had a blast at the GG. Dale never showed up at our table for some reason, but Chip and Mickey both showed up twice (still haven't figured that one out) Dale was there-we saw him-but never came over....meh. The food was really good-I thought.

If this ever happens again - tell someone. Either your server or the CM that helps out the characters. Most times we have been asked if we have seen all the characters while we are dining. If you are missing out on a character just let someone know and they should get that character over to your table right away.
