Best meal in Cinderella's Castle?

I'm thinking of planning a second trip to the MK in January, on my birthday. As a little girl I went several times and was always disappointed that I never got to meet Cinderella. How fun would it be now that I have children of my own (even though they are BOYS) to meet her now, on my birthday? (ok, so maybe this is just an excuse to go back to the MK. who cares, right? LOL)

Which meal is the best, breakfast, lunch or dinner?

We did breakfast on our first trip and it ws just okay. not a must do it again meal. We also did 1900 park faire for dinner and met prince charming, step sisters, and step mother, along with cinderela. That meal was okay, better than the castle bkfast. It was very crowded and hard to get out to go to the buffet. Character interaction was pretty good. at the castle cindy is only in the lobby for pictures and doesnt come around to the tables.

That is a great question! My dd really wants to go to BBBoutique and get her hair done, and she really wants to go to the castle. We didnt even go in last time. So with the Dlx dp, I think we should do it for her sake, but I have read the menus...not too appealing really. But, was thinking perhaps lunch would be good there. Would love to hear what people have to say!!!

I prefer breakfast solely for the fact that you can get a pre-opening ADR. Nothing like seeing the castle for the first time with no one in your view!! Even better when the kids realized they were going to have breakfast there!!

We've done both breakfast 2x and dinner once. Breakfast was much better then the dinner. It's an expensive meal but, you do get to eat in the castle and have your picture taken with Cinderella. At breakfast you will meet many princesses. At dinner Cinderella is only on the bottom floor for photos and the mice and fairy godmother were upstairs. We all agreed that breakfast was better food, but we also decided that next trip we'll stick to the princess breakfast at epcot. It was much, much, better.:wizard:

We also prefer the breakfast, although lunch is also good if you want to do BBB early first. Dinner isn't a character meal with the princesses.

We had breakfast with Cinderella two years ago and loved it! Even my boys thought it was pretty cool to see Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, etc.:thumbsup2 I for one thought it was wonderful and simply magical. The breakfast was good...my children didn't eat as well as Chef Mickey. But, we were really there for the experience, not so much the food.

Yeah, I don't really care so much about the food, for me it's all about eating inside the castle and meeting the princesses. When I was little I used to imagine what it must be like inside, and I was always so sad that we never ate there.

We went for lunch and the food was only O.K but our granddaughter loved it. All the princesses were there and came around to be photographed with the kids. We did the BBBoutique the day before, so we still had princess hair, makeup, outfit, etc. It was a wonderful experience for our granddaughter, but we will do other things on our trip this summer.

We have been for lunch several times. I think it is definitely the best food in MK, not that that is saying too much. You get to meet 5 princesses... you get the initial greeting and photo with Cinderella, then 4 others circulate through the tables during the meal. At various times, we've had Snow White, Belle (in the blue dress), the Fairy Godmother, Aurora, Jasmine, and Mary Poppins.

We're not morning people, so we don't ever try to book breakfast, but we've been really happy with lunch. Our son doesn't much care, but I love the pictures.

I've only been there for the breakfast, but I have to say it was one of the best meals we had in our 2 trips. Everything was so delicious!

(BTW, OP, I went with my 5yr old son & my mom just so I could see Cinderella..and I make no apologies for the fact that it was for ME, not him..LOL!)

We LOVE the breakfast, we have done it 6 times and have always been pleased. The food is great in our opinions, then again you give me a bowl of those yummy potatoes and a glass of juice and I'd be happy. They are so good! It is always one of our favorite meals.

There is nothing like being in the castle, go, do it for yourself! I never got to do it as a kid either but it was worth the wait! Oh, and you may want to order yourself the slipper dessert. We ordered it for our girls for after breakfast on our last trip and it was as delicious as it was beautiful!!!

That! Plus, if they are early enough, you'll leave the castle just before the park opens too--no lines!

We did CRT for lunch last year and it was AMAZING! Great food and service! And of course, its THE castle! I loved it! It was just me and my DD (6 at the time) - DH wanted to do some MK exploring on his own. We had the best time and we will remember it forever.

This year, we are trying to get that coveted breakfast ressie! My best friend is going with us, and we are actually secretly trying to get the ADR for breakfast on the morning of her bday!

I hope you have a great trip! And a happy birthday at the castle! :wizard:

We have done breakfast and lunch. We weren't interested in dinner. Breakfast was okay, but worth it for the early entry to the park. Lunch, to us, was the FAR better meal. You see all the princesses and we thought the food was better.

Another vote for lunch.:thumbsup2We toured for a few hours and then when we were getting tired/ hungry it was time to sit and relax. We enjoyed our food, too. Our princesses were Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Jasmine and Belle. We went for DD, but DMom, DS10 and I were surprised at how much we actually enjoyed it too.

Hmmm....where did I hear this before??? :rotfl: ;) ;)

I am really wanting to do this!!! I can't even imagine how excited my kids will be to walk up tot he castle without a ton of people!!!!

I am taking my three daughters for the first time. We land in the afternoon, will take the ME to our resort. Relax a bit, head to MK for our ADR's at CRT. It is my hope that the first thing my girls remember about their first Disney trip is eating dinner in the Castle. The food might be ok....maybe it will stink....but my girls will meet Cinderella, Jaque, Gus Gus, and the Fairy Godmother.......I think they will like it:thumbsup2:thumbsup2
