I thought I'd share the lyrics of one of my favorite choral pieces. We did it at all-state. No only are the lyrics beautiful, but also the melody. The melody is basically segments of ascending and descending notes...like parts of different scales...hopefully that makes sense. And then a lot of it is done in a round...so gorgeous and smooth and flowing. Anyway, here are the lyrics:
