I have tried to read many of the threads on locker use, especially for FJ. We have never been to US so we have no visual cues to focus on. There seems to be some who do carry a bag into the park and place in a locker; those that carry a fanny pack and keep it on, and those who don't carry anything. Fitting into the seats will not be an issue for me and DD10.

I am thinking I could get away with a fanny pack, which sounds allowable on the ride, as I want my camera.

But, :confused3 How do you handle the water bottle thing. I have read that you can ask a vendor for water, but which vendors, and how does that work? Is it practical?

I do have a carabinier clip that allows you to hang a water bottle from your belt, is this allowed without using a locker?

Also, as we leave this week, what about rain; do you carry a poncho or mini umbrella in your fanny pack or bag? Which is better? If not, what do you do?

If I keep to a small fanny pack, what about putting a visor somewhere when you ride? Can you sit on it or place in ride pocket?

For those that use the lockers; there are some postings about going through Filch's. Please explain that a little better; directions, signs, doorways etc..
Thanks very much. Please change my :confused3 into :yay:

For water -- they give you a plastic cup with ice water in it. You can ask any vendor, whether it be in a restaurant or outside at one of the carts. It's a nice idea when you're walking somewhere in the heat.

I don't think you would be able to have your water bottle on a clip. It's an item that could become loose. I went inside Men in Black once with my VERY small walletpurse thingy and the guy wouldn't let me ride unless I stuck it in my pocket.

I bring a backpack with me when I head to the parks. I usually bring my sandwich, my frozen water bottle, along with other things in there. I do bring a small umbrella with me just incase. It's very compact. I got it at Target and it does the job, for the most part. I think a poncho would take up more space. They get all bunchy and big when you fold them up.

Hats are usually fine, as long as you hold them in your hand or something. Some rides do have compartments, though on the small side.

You basically just find Filches and then walk in and head to the left. There's a doorway there and it leads you to the lockers.

I'm not a picture taker, so I can't give you any photos.

I hope I helped just a bit!
