Best location to watch Superstar Parade

Trying to plan rides around the parade route and I have no idea where the parade starts and ends. What is the best location for viewing? How early do you have to get there for a good spot?

You don’t have to stake out a spot early for the parade........

You actually get a good view everywhere, but it does stop for picture opportunities outside Mel’s Diner and The Horror Make Up Show area. That’s where it ends too.
