DD has asked for a Keurig for Christmas this year so she can take it to college with her. I am looking for the best deal. Has anyone noticed any good Black Friday deals? Wal-Mart has a Pre-BF sale on the Elite K40 Brewer for $99 and you get a $25 Wal-Mart gift card. I'm not sure if this model is too big for a dorm room...anyone else know? I was thinking about a mini but it looks like you can't use the taller coffee cups/mugs with it. Thanks in advance for your help!

I'm looking for one too! Reviews on Amazon look mixed for the k-40 though so I'm hoping for a deal on another model.

The cheapest I've seen the k40 is $99. Sam's will have the new 2.0 version BF for $99. Although, the 2.0 seems a bit large for a dorm room.

I think that is a really good deal. If they want the taller mugs/cups, then they will make it work in the dorm room, even if they wind up sitting it on the floor!

DS had no problem with it in his dorm room. He put it on his bedside table. As far as the reviews, we both have had the B40 for a year and a half with no problems.

I also have the b40 and haven't had any issues with it. I do make sure to run a resevoir full of vinegar through it at least twice a year just to keep the insides of the machine running smoothly.

On the mini - the "tray" the cup sits on pulls out and you can put a slightly taller cup/mug under there. Kohl's has good prices, especially if you get a 30% off code - plus if you have a Discover card - go to the Kohl's site through Shop Discover for more cash back.

I always do well at Kohls. I got my mom the mini-- her apartment is small.

Here's the current pricing:
The Keurig® K10 B31 MINI Plus Personal Coffee Brewer
Color : Red , Size : NO SIZE
SKU # 91018357
Sale $71.99 Regular $124.99

Throw in their current 20% off coupon, and the total is $61.05 (including tax and free shipping.)

I have had the Mini for two years and love it, but if you want one that can take a travel mug - this one is 'not' for you! It can take a med-tall mug only with the base taken out.

Also, to ensure carefree operations, 'always' take the k-cup out immediately after use - this prevents the needle from clogging from dried coffee grounds!!

Just wanted to piggy back on this - great deal and now you can add the code HOMESALE10 to get $10 off a $50 purchase to make this even better. We have a VUE and we are having a really hard time finding the cups now so I just ordered us the mini (which we've had before) since $51ish was better than the bigger versions.

Ebates has 6% back for Kohls as well right now.

I can't stack the 20% (YESFAM20) and $10 off (HOMESALE10). Can anyone else? My total with YESFAM20 is $62.05 with tax and free shipping.

I was at Kohl's today so I took a look at the new B40's. Wow, do they ever look plasticy and cheap.

I was considering buying DH a new one for xmas to replace our aging one, but I'll pass.

Really? I had no issues with it at all :confused3 Heck, that's the reason why I decided to go for it. I did the HOMESALE10 first, then the 20% off code (if that matters).

I just checked quickly and I wonder if it's because their "Power Hour" or whatever they call it sale, has ended? The mini appears $12 more now?

My total with a box of Kcups was $64.41 total.

I hope it works for you!

Target.com has the k40 for $99, you get a $25 gift card with purchase. I used my Target card for an additional 5% off. And...their with the purchase of 3 k cup packs, you get a $5 gift card. Also, free shipping. QVC is charging $15 for shipping plus taxes.

I did this in the store and also got $10 in Kohls cash.

Okay I entered the HOMESALE10 first and then the YESFAM20 and it's down to $59.35 with tax and free shipping. Not sure how to get to $51ish but it's not bad. The Target deal for the bigger brewer is good too for around $75 if you regularly shop at Target to use the GC.
Not sure which I will do.

Kohls will be having $15 cash back with a $50 purchase. I would get the mini for a dorm room. We usually make a large and medium or small with each k-cup (I prefer weak coffee) Just pour the small into the travel mug, not a big deal and it would save space.

I think I read somewhere that the new ones only take Kuerig brand K Cups, not the other brands, does anyone know if that's true?

I have a regular size and a mini. One travels with us. The thing I don't like about the mini is you have to load it with water for every single cup and I never manage to do it right. I much prefer the regular size with the reservoir. The good thing about the mini is it can be completely drained for travel and won't leak. I would buy the regular size one for anyone who uses it on a daily basis. Its not that much bigger than the mini.
