Best Iphone cases or accessories

I am finally updating to an iphone! Any advice on the best cases to get or the accessories that you can't live without?

Otter makes a great case as does ifrogz.

Stay away from the plain silicon ones while they look good they offer no protection.

I also like my altec lansing speakers.

Dh has an otterbox and loves it. He's dropped it a few times on the ground and it survived both falls.

I have the Speck Candy Shell one and like it. I also was looking at an iSkin one (it had good reviews), but there wasn't a store around that carried it and I didn't want to wait for it to be shipped. I'll probably pick it up sometime just because I like it, but not because I need it.

Yeah for you!!! Otterbox is my suggestion.
It depends on what you do though... and what you will subject your phone to.

I love my iphone... I got it a few weeks ago.

When I walked into the AT&T store, the salesman led me right over to the applecare warranty. I told him not to waste his time, I was buying the phone with amex and that would double the warranty... (not the tech support though).. guy says"you need this so much that I will throw in $70 worth of accessories"
OK I took the applecare, and I got a pink and black Otterbox Defender
It's a little bulkier, but my phone is quite safe now.

I asked another salesmen if he always does that and he said they usually give $30 worth of accessories when you buy the warranty..

TJ Maxx and Marshalls have all kinds of cases in the mens accessories department.. of course I have a bunch of those too, but right now while the phone is so new I feel it's safer in the otterbox.
