Theres loads of great WDW Restaurants however all the good recommendations for Universal i have come across appear to be for Citywalk properties.

Can anyone recommend and great Restaurants with both Universal Studios & IOA

I will be very grateful.

Our family has been going to Orlando Theme Parks for over 20 years. We usually do counter service, and don't spend time at a sit down place. But this past February, while at Universal Studios, we decided to take a break from the hustle and bustle, and sit down for a meal...we had walked past Lombard's Landing countless times, and this time we stopped in...and boy, were we happy! We sat outside, out back, overlooking what was Amityville. Our meal was nothing short of superb. We were very impressed with the quality of the food. The service was a bit slow, but we were in no hurry, so it did not faze us. We enjoyed our meal immensely and would go back in a heartbeat..and it was not expensive. I highly recommend Lombard's Landing !!;)

Mythos in IOA is worthwhile as is Finnegan's in USF.

Confisco also does sit down service although all we've ever had there is the breakfast buffet.

Great sit down restaurants. Mythos and Finnegans are my favorites. As damo said check out that food sticky it has tons of info and menus. :thumbsup2

Thunder Falls for counter in IOA and Confisco Grille for table service. We think CG is nicer than Mythos......for us anyway.

For counter service I'm Monster Cafe all the way and Mythos for sit down. On the Dis Unplugged recently (maybe this week actually) Pete again went completely off on Mythos and while I enjoy his rants I just don't understand his hatred of Mythos. I can completely understand anyone who doesn't think it's the "Best Theme Park Restaurant," but I'm pretty sure Pete thinks it's one of the worst, and that's just crazy.

Pete also put out the idea that Mythos wins the "Best Theme Park Restaurant" award (came in 2nd this year I believe) only because all Universal fans just vote for it, despite it being horrible. I also completely disagree with this. While I think there is a large percentage of Disney "hardcore" fans (as in, fans of Disney World but would never even CONSIDER going to Universal, Sea World, etc), but while there are fans of Universal parks I think almost all of them would also consider themselves Disney fans as well. Whatever percentage there is of "Universal Only" fans would be so small as to be insignificant when it comes to polls.

Mythos is fantastic and I would still think that if it were not a "theme park restaurant".
We like Lombard's Landing in US.

I'll just say that I disagree with Pete. I don't think that he cares much for Universal overall and that's fine. We all have our favorites.

Anyway, Mythos or Confisco or Thunder Falls Terrace at IOA are my recommendations. I still need to try Finnegans.

Exactly. There are way more Disney fans than Universal fans, so the fact that Mythos wins anything is surprising. However, I'm not sure exactly how the voting is actually done.
