Best IMAX in or around Orlando?

Doing a google search, it seems there are three IMAX theaters in or around Orlando and we wanted to visit one during our stay in October.

We were hoping that Harry Potter would still be playing but regardless we were unsure of which theater is best to visit for the experience.

Which one provides the best experience?

The one on I-Drive is in the Pointe Orlando complex. It's definitely the closest one to the tourist/Disney area. Make sure you have someone at the theatre validate your ticket so you won't have to pay for parking. I haven't been there in awhile, but there's plenty of restaurants both in Pointe Orlando and the surrounding area so you'll have your choice if you decide to do dinner and a movie.

The one in Altamonte is brand-y new, so I'm sure it's nice, but it's pretty far from Disney. I'm not sure on the mileage, but I know it's 8 miles from me, and I'm just north of downtown, about 30 minutes from Disney. It's adjacent to a mall and on a busy road with lots of restaurants, if that helps.

I didn't know we had another IMAX theatre, so I can't help you on the one on Alafaya (except to say that's it's also pretty darn far).

Thanks for that information! I guess we will just hit the one on international drive since it will be much closer during our trip.
