Best Ice Cream

My favorite is Ghirardelli's, but Mainstreet Ice Cream Palor's waffle bowl sundaes are really yummy!

Yes! I love to grab a waffle bowl sundae and settle in to watch Wishes. And Ghiradelli's is always a good idea. We go in the afternoon when it isn't too crowded. Hope to try Beaches and Cream next trip. Thanks for the thread...now I need some Dairy Queen!

Hmm, on my arrival day, I will have lots of time (I don't intend to go to a park). I can either go to DTD and Ghirardelli or go to Beach Club/Beaches and Cream. Ice cream is among my top 5 foods ever and I eat it way too much. Which one? Such a hard decision. I'm staying at the CR - can I swim at the Beach Club? If so, maybe I'll go to Beaches and Cream and swim it off in their cool pool.

Unfortunately you cannot swin at the beach club pool they require you show a room key and wear a wristband. But the ice cream is GREAT!

I am so jealous of all you ice cream enthausists and all of the amazing sounding ice cream at Disney. I suffer from Adult Onset Lactose Intolerance I would love to be able to eat a bowl of ice cream without getting sick.

I'm not completely sure, but I think dole whips are dairy-free.

I'm not completely sure, but I think dole whips are dairy-free.

Lactose free, but not totally dairy free, its has some sodium caseinate.

Its the only frozen treat I will eat at WDW. I can sometimes have ice cream but sometimes it messes me up and I don't want to chance it.

Also you can buy the mix and make it at home if you have an ice cream maker. A home soft serve maker is even better.

For all you Dole Whip fans I won't post the ingredient list.

not sure if this counts as ice cream, but the dole whips are not to be missed. in adventureland or at the polynesian. i think they have ice cream in them.

I recommend the plain dole whip over the float. the juice in the float to me is kind of tart.

Well it should go without saying, but obviously Mickey ice cream bars are awesome.... but as far as sundaes go...

The Main St. Ice Cream Parlor definitely makes you salivate because you can smell it every time you walk past!

Dole whip is also an amazing treat of WDW.

my kids love the ice cream at B and C.. we sat down for lunch and desert .. then at night went back to their takeout counter for more ice cream ..

our favorite soft serve is in the france kiosk that sells crepes

we also love our gelato found in many of the restaurants and in italy

soft serve cart in france is awesome.

That crepe kiosk did have some incredible soft serve. DH and I went in October for F&W with friends and one of them saw a cone someone had so she got in line for one. Once I saw hers and her delight, I got in line and got one. Her husband followed suit, and then finally mine. I will be back!
