We are flying down one day early before we check into a disney resort, we won't be going to any parks, but was wondering about a great pool where the kids would have fun, but not too expensive? Any help would be great!

The Safari has a great pool with a 75 ft. python slide. Also right outside the gates to WDW/Downtown Disney. Sometimes they have some great discounted rates also.

Here's the link to their site:

HTH!!! :teeth:

The Courtyard at the Marriott World Center would be another good choice, and I think they have some sort of expanded continental breakfast included as well (but not positive, so check!)

This property has 3 great pools and not very noisy like the Nick ones. There are water slides and stuff. Check it out if you can.

We also like the Radisson Resort but have always wanted to try Caribe Resort from the pictures. Good luck, we are staying at CSR specifically for the pool :flower:

Thank you!!! If there are more, keep them coming...I want to show the kids the places and let them pick.

The OMNI pool is fantastic, includes a slide and lazy river. Sometimes the web rates are quite good.

My kids would love this! And I would too if it wasn't so darn expensive!

Double check the rates for the Coronado Springs Resort. We spent our arrival day here before moving to the BWV. We LOVED the pool slide. Awesome!

I don't think the Nick Hotel falls under the "not to expensive" criteria that the poster was looking for. Isn't the Nick Hotel now something like $175 per night. We used to stay there all the time when it was Holiday Inn Family Suites and stayed there in January during the transition (had a Sponge Bob Room). But if you're looking for an inexpensive place for one night, Nick Hotel is not cheap now.

Yes, it is so expensive!!! My son wants to fly down two days earlier just to stay at the Liki Tiki (he loves this place), but I don't think that will happen. So far the kids like the Sheraton Safari, I'll have to keep an eye out for deals:)

I haven't used it personally but several posters have received a great rate for the Sheraton Safari on travelzoo. (www.travelzoo.com) I'm not sure when you are traveling but if you do a search there were some recent stays for only $59. The beds are suppose to be quite comfortable there in addition to the pool.

I just checked the site quickly and did not see the safari still listed but there is a great rate for the Omni Orlando which looks like it has pools with a slide and lazy river. If it works for your date it might be a nice option.

Good luck.
