We will be traveling with DH's sister and her family. They will have 2 DS14 DS 8, and DD 23 months. Where is the best place and by best I mean not extremely expensive and still fun, for us to stay? Obviously we will need a suite for them since Disney won't guarantee adjoining rooms. Thanks!

Do you all want to stay in one room? The 2 bedroom suites at the Disney Vacation Club resorts sleep 8 but they are pretty pricey.

The All Star Movies resort now has family suites that sleep six. I believe that may be the most economic on-site choice for them and maybe your family can get a regular room nearby.

It is the All Star Music Resort that has the Family Suites, which sleep 6 plus one child under 3. We stayed in one and it was GREAT! And we are just a family of 4. It is nice to have 2 bathrooms, the kitchenette, and some privacy, and the price is great.

If I am reading correctly, your DHSister's family could sleep in just about any room since they are 2 adults, 2 children plus one child under 3. After DD turns 3, things will change. But for now, they could fit in one room, although it would be tight.

Thanks for your suggestions. I didn't type my SIL's family so it was easy to understand. They have twins that will be 14, an 8 year old, and the youngest that will be 23 months. I will check out the resort. Thanks again!

Every time I have checked prices, Port Orleans Riverside has been cheaper than the All Star suites. Allthough I see reasons one might pick All Star instead (like havetwo rooms for more privacy), I was surpised nobody had mentioned POR yet. It tends to be the most common 5 person family pick. Also I'm not sure how many people the cabins take 6 or 7 ... they are more expensive than All Stars or POR, but not too bad, and they are great if you plan on eating in the room alot. Too bad Pop doesn't have 5 person rooms... so tacky, but I loved it.

We stayed at POP last time we went and loved it too! I would stay there again in a heartbeat! I will check out POR. Is it good for kids?

POR is good for kids - Ol' Man Island is an awesome pool area (the large themed one), plus they have the cane pole fishing, nightly carriage rides, and are just a boat ride away from DTD. You can also go over and use the snake slide at Doubloon Lagoon at PO FQ - since it's all part of the same PO resort.
