Best hotel for Universal/Sea World trip?

We are planning a trip to Universal and Sea World. There will be five of us. What would be a good hotel that is close to attractions?

Try posting in the Universal board to get lots of good advice.

I would stay onsite at Universal, especially if I was going at a busy time of the year. The front of the line privledges for onsite guests is wonderful and the hotels are very nice. They have deluxe rooms that will hold 5 people. And you can't get any closer than next door.

I'm not sure about Seaworld, but it's not far from Universal if you have a car.

they are far apart (my opinion) okay I am only 2miles from work - so everything is far....

It only took us about 15-20 minutes to get from Pop Century to the parking garage at Universal. It's then about a 10 minute walk to the parks, depending on where you are parked in the garage. I didn't think that was bad at all and there was very little traffic at around 8 AM.

Still, though, I think the Universal resorts are top notch and I would recommend staying there. It's such a treat having the hotels so close to the parks.
