I have twin 9 year old girls. What is the best on-site resort for children? I want to do 3 days st the end of our WDW trip in November.

TIA.....

Really you cant go wrong with any of the three resorts. I would have a look at the information on the Universal website to decide what theme appeals to you most. www.universalorlando.com All three are kid friendly and I have stayed at all three with my kids. You are allowed to pool hop so dont pick due to the pool only.

Aside from the transportation of bus and boat from each to the parks HRH and RPR are an easier walk. The rooms at PBH will be largest with RPR smaller and HRH in the middle. Each also has kid incentives such as pool activities and character meals.

RPR does not have a slide at their pool but they do have a water activity area with cannons and water guns that seems to attract them. Their pool is also largest.

My 8 and 10 year old girls LOVE Hard Rock. They have stayed at the other 2 and asked to only go back to HRH. The hotel is beyond cool. I always find myself singing to some great song in the elevator! The pool and slide are great. I have floated for HOURS while they enjoy the slide. And th ewalk to the parks can't be beat. The rooms are really nice as well.

megadittoes on HRH. My kids love it there. If you have another adult along, the kids klub is quite cool for evening care if you want an evening on citiwalk.

I'd probably say HRH since it's the closest to the parks. That way one spouse can take the kids to the parks while the other relaxes in the room. You can do that at the other hotels too, but with the HRH, it's only a 5 minute walk. You can still visit the other hotel pools and use them, but the kids will like the music and slide at the HRH.

If you book the HRH, be sure to check your reservation a couple months before you go, and then a week before to make sure it's still on file. For some reason, the HRH has a habit of losing reservations. And try to check in early. Even if your room is not ready, you still get your magic keys.

My teens love HRH. My first thought when reading the "9 year olds" was RPR though. Their pool is the biggest in Orlando and it has always appeared to me to have more of the younger kids.
