So last night, DH and I went to see stage version of The Lion King. The touring company's here in Kansas City for 6 weeks. The little girl who played Young Nala had a hidden Mickey in her hairdo. I kid you not!
BTW, the show was pretty good. I adore the movie (probably my favorite animated feature) but it didn't stretch well into a 3 hour musical. Costumes, puppets, were fantastic of course and the opening scene gets me every time, even on DVD. Overall, though, a resounding "meh".
