Best HHI Resort Building? Tips or Tricks too?

Fam and I are heading to the HHI Resort at the end of May. Does anyone have any suggestions on what building to request? We are staying in a 2BR.

Also any other tips or tricks to share?

Probably my best tip is that HH has a great number of wonderful restaurants. Also, DVC will give you a list of those offering discounts to DVC members. While technically not supposed to happen, in every case it's come up, I've been able to combine both that discount with another such as the free salad at the Old Oyster Factory and early bird specials at a number of places including Alexander's down the road. Again, can't be guaranteed but it's happened consistently. Once I even called ahead and asked that question and was told no, couldn't get the discount on early bird's but our experience at the restaurant was completely different. Also, restaurant.com has she good choices for the area.

We had a 2 bedroom located upstairs in building 29 last year. It was absolutely amazing! We were told to request a room on the top level since the floors are hardwood and tiled. I was told that if you're downstairs you can hear everything. Knowing my kids are pretty quiet (15 & 11), I knew this wouldn't be an issue. Their rambunctious days are over! This building overlooked the marsh and we were able to watch the tide come in and out, and we had a great view of the pier and wildlife. Very, very beautiful and tranquil.

Our building was conveniently located near the pool, snack shop and gift shop. Sometimes we could hear the goings-on at the pool, but it wasn't loud enough to disturb us at all.

When we arrived in we were given the option of checking into a lower level room that was ready but we told the CM that we were willing to wait for an upper level room and she said that would not be a problem. By 5pm we were in our room.

Enjoy! You'll love it. I think all the rooms are likely to be special.
