Best "Healthy" Meal in Disneyland?

Does anybody have favorites for the best "Healthy" meals in Disneyland Park?

You know what I like? I like the skewers at Bengal BBQ in Adventureland. You can get chicken, beef or veggie skewers and they are just delicious. Also, Storytellers Cafe serves a rather hearty turkey breast sandwich that my friend said was excellent, and my other friend loved the veggie burger there as well. Someone posted a photo of the turkey sandwich at Whitewater Snacks in the GCH and that looks great!! I am sure I will think of more... Also, the fruit all throughout DLR is excellent. I don't know if they dipped it in pixie dust or what, but any place I have had any of the fruit anywhere in DLR, it has been juicy and yummy!

I like the salads and sandwiches at Riverbelle Terrace. Fresh and filling, but a bit pricy.

The river belle terrace has GREAT healthy meals! I got the turkey sandwich, which was freshly carved and came with a side of fruit. My boyfriend got the turkey salad and it had loads of turkey and fresh veggies.

The outdoor dining is a nice place to watch fantasmic as well.

I really like the turkey sandwich they have @ the Village Haus. I'm not sure if the turkey sandwich is the same throughout the parks, but it was really good. Especially the bread! :goodvibes

For me, it's the kid's meal at Plaza Inn, with a serving of penne with marinara, half a breadstick, and apple slices and baby carrots, along with a small bottle of water (and color-changing straw, of course). Add a side salad, and I've got a very nice meal.:goodvibes

Along the same lines, I have done a kids' meal bean burrito (sans cheese) at Rancho de Zocalo. It comes with rice, applesauce/slices and a drink.

The veggie gumbo at Royal Street Verandah is probably on the healthier side, especially if you don't devour the entire breadbowl with it (good luck with that!). ;)

This isn't in the park, but we enjoyed ESPN Zone for a different kind of kids meal. They have fruit and yogurt, and make your own salad (where the ingredients come on a plate but they aren't mixed up) - great for picky kids!

The freshly made salads at Redd Rocket's Pizza Port in Tomorrowland top our list. They have 4 or 5 varieties and you can ask them to make you up one that omits any ingredient that you might have issues with.

Typically, there's an Asian Chicken Salad, a Mediteranean Salad, basic Italian salad, Chicken Ceasar, plain side salad, and one with cranberries and stuff.

I love the side salads at Plaza Inn. Its real lettuce, not iceberg which I hate. I agree with Molly, if you get a kids meal there and a side salad, its a very healthy and filling meal.

I also enjoy the sandwiches at Whitewater Snacks in the Grand Californian. I also enjoy the skewers at Bengal BBQ and the turkey sandwich at Riverbelle Terrace. And the Boudin Bakery in DCA (I think that is what its called, its over in the Pacific Wharf area)has some nice selections as well.

Oh and Blue Ribbon Bakery has some nice sandwiches. But its hard to be healthy when you walk into that place and inhale the aroma and see all the goodies in the cases!

I wanted to do that, but omg the LINE. Don't go at typical eating times!

I was on a very strict food plan for about a year and went to DL about 4x a month. My favorite place to go was the Tomorrowland Terrace.

Tell them you are on a very strict plan and ask nicely for a grilled chicken breast sandwich without the bun or sauce.

Add a salad with no dressing and a wonderful fruit platter that they sell that is plenty for you to share with others in your group.

Many of the places in DL that sell Coke also have Minute Maid LIGHT lemonade.

The tostada at Rancho is great to share, and with grilled veggies or chicken its pretty healthy though you might want to watch the toritilla shell.

I think that Wine Country has some good options. But I mostly eat their salads and caprese sandwhich.

Also at Rancho del Zacholo, you can get a half of a roasted chicken for $13. They will sub grilled veggies for the beans and rice. That is more than enough to share and very healthy

The healthiest meal I had was the chicken caesar salad at Whitewater Snacks it was very good, the lettuce was fresh and it was a nice break from the usual burgers.

I always get the veggies at Rancho instead of beans, they are soooooo good!!!!

I enjoyed the Salmon Creole at the French Market earlier this year. They revamped their menu in the early summer. The corn bread could be avoided if you're really watching the healthiness factor.

Herb & Garlic Salmon Creole - Herb & Garlic Salmon Fillet, served on a bed of Wild Rice and Roasted Corn drizzled with a Fennel and Tomato Broth. With Seasonal Vegetables and Cheddar Corn Bread.

Speaking of salmon...a few steps over in Cafe Orleans, I enjoyed their Salmon Salad. It was huge and good enough for two people. Sorry, no picture though.
"Crescent City" Salmon Salad - Fresh spinach and mixed baby greens, tossed with carmelized pecans, red grapes, navel orange segments, roasted sweet corn, and orange-cilantro vinaigrette - crowned with sauteed and pan-seared Atlantic Salmon.

We love the meals at Whitewater Snacks. Their grilled chicken sandwich is delicious. I always say "no" to the fries that comes with the meal and ask for fresh fruit instead. The portions are very generous that I can share it with my DH. Not only healthy but cost effective too! :thumbsup2
