We're staying at the JW Marriott, and want to stop off for groceries on the way from the airport (MCO, and we'll have a rental car). Could somebody suggest the best option? Many thanks in advance. :disrocks:

We just stayed there this summer.......from what I recall, there is a grocery store right on Central Florida Parkway - near SeaWorld. I am guessing that since you are driving from the airport that you will probably take the Beeline to John Young Pkwy. I don't know what is down that way - we only travelled towards I 4. If you leave the hotel and head out on Central Florida Parkway towards I-4, there is a ton of stuff....Wendy's, etc, and grocery store. Can't miss it...it will be on your LEFT heading from hotel towards I-4.

Have you been to this hotel before ? WOW !! What a place ! Feel free to contact me if I can help you further !

Thanks for the advice! I just got back, and didn't see your post until I got home from the trip, but you were right: There's a Publix 2.2 miles down Central Florida Parkway, headed towards I-4. I found it on Google Earth the day before we left. :)

And yes, wow, what a place! We were staying at the JW Marriott, but also had lunch at the Ritz one day with my husband's boss, and both hotels were great. The lazy river was especially nice. But I have to admit, I'd trade all that luxury in order to be closer to WDW. Last night, the final night of the trip, we switched over to the Nick Hotel because I cashed in some Priority Club points, and I remembered how much I love going from the hotel to the parks in ~7 minutes.
