Best Fundraisers??

Inspired by both the Fundraisers thread and the Worst Fundraisers thread:

What are some of the BEST fundraisers you have known??

Some of mine are:

1) Girl Scout Cookies - everyone LOVES these. This is the easiest fundraiser to sell. (and my girls sell enough of them every year to earn Camp Credit and then I get a week of quiet in the summer while they are away at camp )

2) Market Day - yeah some of it is on the pricey side, but I only buy what my family likes, and some of it makes for a quick dinner. (As in I don't really have to plan it out, just take out of the freezer and bake.)




I'm interested to see what you all think are the Best fundraisers as I just came home from an 8th Grade Dance Committee Mtg. tonight (alright it wasn't just now, it was a few hours ago, but I needed a glass of wine (or 2 alright so I've been drinking like a - what's it to you, I had a rough meeting. ) like I was saying...I needed some to calm myself down) Don't worry, I'll start a seperate thread in the morning.



Oh, another fundraiser I have heard about and liked the idea of is the Flamingo one....where you pay to have the flock of Flamingos fly off your lawn and onto someone else's.

Our magazine drive is pretty successful. Everyone gets magazines and the prices in the book are usually the same or even less then what you can get on the renewal card (if the renewal card is less then the book price-they will honor that price).

The youth group at our church sells Christmas wreaths. That is a good one as well.

what's market day?

We have a fundraiser here which is actually a school carnival. The kids pay like $2 to get in, the play carnival games for a couple hours. They sell pizza/soda/chips for $1.50 and everyone gets a prize...This is put on by the PTO, and is a major fundraiser for them
