Last night I finally got around to putting the iron on transfers I bought on etsy onto the kid's shirts - have had them for like 2 months now -

Happy 50 Days & counting

To celebrate Kim & Jeffrey are coming over tonight for another movie night. Since Chris took the kids to camp this morning, I did a little decorating before I went to work







all the decorations came from a kit that was at Walmart for like $5

Jeffrey, Tyra and Devin watched about 20 minutes of the movie and then went off and played.

29 days until we leave for Disney

Wow less than 25 days until we arrive – I can’t believe it!!!!!

Kids went back to school last week – you can tell they were all soo excited – lol


This weekend we made use of the holiday break and visited a local theme park. We camped for 3 nights so we had lots of time to visit and get the last little bit out of our season passes. We had a great time but it just wasn’t Disney.

I love the impressed look on the oldest's face it reminds me of how I felt going back to school after summer break . The younger ones at lest look like they pretended to be happy

Hahaha oh my, I remember those days! Now I'm all turned around, I can't wait until the day I get back to school!

The days keep ticking away and there is still soooo much to do

I have all of Tyra and Devin's outfits hanging in a section of my closet but I usually am packed for our Disney trips a month in advance - this is sooo not like me.

Not only do I have home stuff to get done but work as well (will be out of the office on work related stuff this Friday, then Monday, & Tuesday) Our county fair starts next Wednesday so I'll be off mid-day then until Monday. And that leaves one week to get things squared away before leaving for Disney - and that Friday is my day off.

Yesterday it was pointed out to me by a friend that Tyler is going to miss Homecoming b/c of our trip. He's really excited about the week of activities at school. I have been really soul searching for a week now about him going on this trip b/c he's doing soo well adjusting to high school - I am regretting planning this trip for him to miss a week of school. So last night I told him that if he wanted to stay behind to do homecoming stuff instead of Disney that we could plan something fun for him this winter - like snow tubing or something. He's considering it.
