Best FP+ Ever

There was nothing more special than getting the gift of fastpasses from another family. Always loved that.
We used to love giving away FastPasses we weren't able to use. Miss that.

I'm still not sure how this happened - but on my birthday in May, the week 7DMT opened, I scored FP+ for 7DMT, Anna/Elsa AND got a breakfast reservation in the castle. I told DH that was basically like capturing a unicorn.

That is like capturing a unicorn!

FP+ was even more glitchy last December when they were still testing it. My family ended up with 7 different times of FPs, including 3 different TSM FPs and 3 different ToT FPs. I showed CMs my FPs on MDE, and they let us use all 7.

This will be surpassed if I can get the FP+ that our family wants in 3 weeks. We are a group of 11, and we want A&E and 7DMT with at least overlapping times before lunch. Even more difficult, we are shooting for the 1st of 2 MSEPs on a Saturday that is also a day after our check-in day. I am prepared for a lot of stalking.

Mine would have to be the FP for BOG (best meal of the trip, hands down!), followed closely by the FP for parades and fireworks. Just not having to 'guard my turf' hours in advance, not having to deal with the last minute folks who think nothing of shoving their kids in front of you - being able to relax and enjoy a parade and fireworks - heaven!

I just now got A&E finally but at the same time we are landing! Now to just convince DH to change to the earlier flight to make it or keeping my fingers crossed I can get the time changed to later on in the day.

Early in September I was finished with MK for the day and it was HOT. Decided to go over to HS to see if perchance I could get into the Frozen sing a long for the amusement and air conditioning. I arrived about 5:30...there were still "tickets" available but I was wandering around and saw the FP+ terminal...what the heck. Scored a 6pm slot. Saw the show, enjoyed the cool, got sentimental and decided to try again...yep got another one for 7pm. This is only amazing because there were people waiting in the ticket line and the standby line for both shows.

Fantasia as my 4th. I was traveling with a group of 7. Nothing good around 3 when we were leaving the park, so I just took whatever and changed each one to Fantasia on my way home. It convinced my mom to come instead of sitting home and the second we walked in to the park they said it was standing room only. Such a great show and the first time for all of us

Best I scored for this trip was the day there was a glitch in the system and someone posted it on the dis. We now have soarin and test track in the same day! Hopefully they don't disappear now that the system is back to normal.

THIS. In addition to the doubed up Soarin/Test Track, I also scored doubled up Rock n Rollercoaster/TSMM all due to a glitch.

But, without a glitch, our best one was for MSEP. It made it very stress free and much more enjoyable.

Two memorable FP+ scores:

1. Last summer we were staying at BLT. My daughter lost her hat at the Studios, so I went down to the concierge desk at the hotel to see if they could call lost and found for us. The call took about 30 minutes, so I ended up talking to the CMs for that time - trading stories and Disney rumors. When the call to Lost and Found finally went through (and they didn't have my daughter's hat), the one CM gave me my choice of FP+ for the next day! I chose to meet Mickey in Town Square, as it was something I had always wanted to do.

The next day we used our FP+ to meet talking Mickey. It was completely amazing and memorable, especially since it was our last day of vacation. And it was all the more special because it came from two great CMs.

2. In December my daughters and I were waiting in the inside queue for Test Track (waiting to go in the design room). Two young CMs came up to us and handed us paper FPs, explaining that they loved my daughter's shirt so much that they wanted to give them to us. (My daughter was wearing a shirt that had a Baymax waiting for the bus as Totoro) The FPs were for any ride at any time! So we got to ride Soarin' that day with FP... which was a blessing, since we were doing 3 parks that day!

Probably A&E for our first MK day last spring. It was when they first moved to MK and they had just opened up the FP so I got a time with no problem for our very first morning in the parks. Had no idea it was going to be so popular and hard to get.

I think all of mine are for SDMT, oddly. I was able to score TWO for opening weekend, and just recently I was able to get one on the first try without having to stalk MDE. Oh, and probably A&E the first time FPs were available for them.

About 8-9 days before we went for NYE this year, we got Splash, Big Thunder & 7DMT all on the first try and at fantastic times. Once we used those up, we got HM which was at a 105min stand-by, the Little Mermaid ride, and one other which I forget. By the time came for us to use the LM one, there was not a soul in line so we went on earlier and didn't use that FP (it was our last one at 11:15pm).

We got HM at the kiosk about 10 minutes before our return time. The CM had said it was completely gone for the day, so we must've gotten one right as someone cancelled. We absolutely loved the ease of it and can't wait to use it again!

I lucked into an A&E one for my travel buddy last minute last May. And then my one day in September, I got a mine train the day before I was going to be in the parks

The day the system glitched this summer and we got FP+ for both Soarin' and Test Track on the same day.

Had the same thing for a couple days on our May Trip, we were also able to book them like 90 or 100 days out or something. It was really glitched, couldn't book anything but epcot, but it worked :)
