Best fish & chips?

Be careful if you're using the dining plan for Yorkshire Fish shop. Everything on there is included in QS dining - EXCEPT for the fish and chips even though it's listed on the QS pamphlet. I couldn't believe it! The little symbol is right there on the menu next to the drinks and such, but not the fish and chips.

We ate there the last week this past August and used QS credits for the fish and chips. The meal included: fish and chips, drink, and your choice of sugar cookie or bag of crisps. We loved it so much that we had an extra QS credit left over, so we went back and got another meal and split in amongst the family. When I looked on the sign, all I say was the symbol for snack credits. I asked the young man at the register if they did QS meals and he said "yes".

We just tried Raglan Road's Fish and Chips last week. It was nothing to write home about. Hot and decent but not that much better than the frozen kind from the grocery store or a fast food place. The batter was a bit crunchier and a tad less greasy but nothing super special. We plan on trying Rose and Crown's next visit!

I consider myself a big fish and chips fan. I tried Yorkshire and Harbour House and preferred Yorkshire. The taste was great although greasy. Oh well, I wouldn't hesitate to get them again.
