Rose & Crowne - England- EPCOT ?
Fish & Chips - Battered fresh Cod served with English Chips $15.99

Rose and Crown Pub- Englan - EPCOT ?
Fish & Chips - Battered fresh Cod served with English Chips $7.99
1/2 the price of the restuarant
But are they the same, worse, better ?

Yorkshire County Fish Shop - England- EPCOT ?
Fish & Chips - 2 strips of fish served with chips $8.19

Turf Club Bar and Grill - Lunch - Saratoga Springs
Turf Club Fish and Chips - crispy-fried sustainable fish served with french fries, house-made tartar sauce, and malt vinegar $13.99

Garden Grove - Lunch - Swan
Fish 'n Chips - Fresh cod, tartar sauce, malt vinegar $15

Captain's Grille - Lunch -Yacht Club
Fish and Chips - battered cod, with coleslaw and Tartar Sauce served with Vegetable Orzo Salad or fries $14.99

Fulton's Crab House - DTD
Fish and Chips - served with tartar sauce, and French fries $12.95

Which of the above would you recommend ?

Ragland Road does too and they are pretty good. There's also Cooke's of Dublin at DTD.

The Rose and Crown Pub are the same as the Rose and Crown dining room but in more of an appetizer size. They are cooked in same kitchen.

I dislike the CS ones there, at Yorkshire. They are very greasy.

The only others I have tried on that list are at Turf Club. I thought they were okay.

We got fish & chips at R&C but we were eating at the restaurant, not at the pub. I didn't find my portion to be that big so if they are an appetizer size in the pub, I wonder how big it actually is. Especially for being half price I'm pretty sure I saw people under 21 in the pub section. I think they'd just ID you if you try to order a drink.

In any event, I found the fish & chips to be good but nothing special. The batter was thick. Tasted like something I could get at home.

No take out at the pub. There are 5 tables with chairs and they are hard to get; most of the time we stand at one of the high tables and if we are really lucky, we get space at the bar. The pub is always packed.

Your 20 year old can order food there if he wants to stand in there and eat. Otherwise, he will have to order from the counter service Yorkshire outside.

I have always enjoyed Yorkshire Fish & Chips. This time we have a ressie for R&C, and can't wait to try theirs!

Can't comment on all of them, but I had the surf and turf at Rose and Crown, and the fish and meat was all very good. I was actually surprised at how good it was!

I really like the fish and chips at Columbia Harbour House in Magic Kingdom. I wouldn't say they were a whole lot different in flavor than the ones in Epcot, just a little smaller, but just as good, and a good deal too.

Is the Pub considered a Counter Service on the DDP?

No, I don't believe so. Yorkshire County Fish, which is adjacent to Rose & Crown, would be the counter service restaurant in the UK.

I know you are asking about Disney in particular, but I just want to throw out there that the best fish and chips we had were actually at Universal at the Three Broomsticks. In case you're planning on being there at all during your stay.

We have had the one ones at the CS in England, and we didn't like them at all. As someone else said, they were very greasy. That was probably 2007 or 2008, so it was a long time ago, but we haven't been tempted to try them again. Never had the ones in the pub or the sit down (yet). I would probably try those if I were there.

We LOVED Raglan Road House in general, but didn't get the fish and chips. I would try those without hesitation as well though.

But truly, the ones at the Three Broomsticks were terrific. Wish I could have some now....

You may be right, but then you have to go through a subpar Universal theme park experience to get them and so no matter how good the fish and chips, you've already lost.

No need to be condescending (to those of us who love WWOHP). I never suggested she go there specifically for the Fish and Chips. Just suggesting that if their trip already included plans for US, then they should try the ones at the Three Broomsticks.

Plenty of us do not think that the WWOHP is "sub par". In fact, it's pretty darned amazing!! But we can agree to disagree about that.
