Were doing a 10 day visit on March 25th. It will be me,my mom, my son (3) and Daughter (5). The kids are not big fans of fireworks but I want them to see them. So other then being right up there with them Is there another location where we could still get a good view but maybe not as loud? I don't mind going out of the park..maybe to one of the hotels for viewing?

By far its not the same as being in the park tho Contemporary has a public balcony we sat on after grabbing QS to view Wishes where we had a decent view. I've seen a beach at GF or Poly mentioned as being a great area maybe someone will chime in as this will only be trip 2 for us ;)

We ate at the California Grill one night (top floor of the Contemporary), it just wasn't as special as being on Main Street for me. Plus with Wishes they do a projection show on the castle before the fireworks and that in my opinion is better than the fireworks and you completely miss it if you aren't at Magic Kingdom. The best for fireworks themselves was IllumiNations in Epcot and you can view those in several places

I believe Rose and Crown has a good view of IllumiNations

Sounds like y'all are not 'really' into the fireworks so probably most anywhere will satisfy your viewing needs.

Nothing beats front and center of castle for us, but anywhere in the parks with full music effect can be ok depending on what you really desire to see. But, to us, outside the parks anywhere is a just 'so so' viewing and nothing like the real thing. You cannot see 'all' the fireworks from anywhere else, especially the lower ones, as we have actually viewed them from all locations over the years, when not in the park.

Have a great trip! pixiedust:

We have Rose and crown reservations in hopes to see Illuminations then. Maybe we'll see how it goes with the kids being that close. I definitely want to see the castle light show but then was thinking of heading out after and maybe seeing the fireworks from afar? Or even another night seeing them from across the lake...

The best place (for me anyways) is now history!

I loved watching. The fireworks at the poly-when I come out of Tokelau (the building I prefer) and hang a right, I'd bring towels and we'd watch from there, kids with jammies on!

I also love being in the poly pool but that isn't possible for everyone if you aren't staying there.

Last August, we were late getting back from illuminations so as we left the Epcot monorail at the TTC we watched from the ferry launch area.

The Poly beach may be a bit more crowded due to construction now. I know how bad it is when we stay there.

How about the tommorowland terrace dessert party? We loved it. No crowds and amazing view of the fireworks and tink plus delicious treats for everyone.
