We're in the parks for ten days. I'm thinking we'll probably book two meals and see how we go, we might end up doing a couple more. There's me, DH and our three boys; 6, 4 and 2. We've done all character meals besides the Paradise Pier breakfast in the past (sans kids). We're leaning toward doing the Plaza breakfast on our 3rd or 4th morning. Tell me what your fave character meals are and why?

I'll be watching this thread with interest too 5ofus. We are definitely planning to do lunch with the princesses at Ariel's Grotto for dd's birthday, but I'd like to do a breakfast too and am still undecided as to where...but I'm leaning to surf's up.

I thought the plaza inn breakfast with Minnie and friends was great! We saw so many characters and the interaction was good too. And the plaza inn itself is so cute and charming. The only other character meal I've been to was in Hong Kong and it was very disappointing in comparison!

Do you know what characters are at Surf's Up? That's the only one I haven't done. I'm leaning toward Goofy's as the second to book in, maybe for dinner, but I don't know much about Surf's Up at all. :confused3

We have only done Goofy's and Surfs Up. From memory at Surf's up we saw Stitch, Daisy, Micky, Pluto and I think Minnie was there too.

If I had to choose between the two again I would go for Surf's Up but then we love Stitch. The character interaction was better at Surf's Up and you could see the whole place where as at Goofy's we were tucked away in a corner and could not see much at all. Food wise Goffy's has a bit more of a range but not too much more.

They're probably the 2 that I am tossing up between. I guess it's a personal preference but I have read lots of positive posts/reviews about both and surf's up appeals to me slightly more. I think it's the hula lessons and dancing that they have. I think that my 3 kids would love to get up and do something with the characters. I just bought the Lilo and Stitch DVD and they watched it for the first time and loved it...so I'm 90% sure that is the place that I will book, but if someone came on here and definitely said Goofy's Kitchen is so much better, I know that I will be swayed. :rotfl2: indecisive is my middle name :lmao::lmao:

We did Minnie & Friends last time and it was brilliant. Great character interaction and DS had so much fun, he even got up and danced (which we weren't expecting him to do at all).

This time round we are going to do Surf's Up. We have introduced DS to Lilo & Stitch specially for this purpose; + Daisy is there (a character who is usually hard to spot around DL). He will miss the Chipmunks though (but I'm sure we'll see them around DL anyway).

I can't believe you and sarefromoz are just now watching Stitch?!?! It's one of mine and DHs (mostly DHs) Disney movies!
