Hi All,

I'm wondering what the best EPCOT restaurant for lunch is. I have noticed that the lunch menus can be somewhat limited. The only restaurants I have little interest in are the italian restaurant in Italy (as I'm Italian and am always eating the food!) and Garden Grill (which I LOVE but have been to several times. I also would like to add it's going to be just my husband and I, as well as my birthday (we will be doing a special dinner in the evening so don't want to get too full as well).

By the way, I love the romance factor. :cutie:

i gave my friend a really good birthday lunch at coral reef last year. The fish tank is too cool and the whole set-up of the resturant is neat. and they gave us this chocolate banner that said happy birthday to put on the cake.

Electric Umbrella is really good. You could also try the restraunt in America. I can't think of it's name.

The lunch special at Chefs de France is a real winner. :goodvibes

The French Menu
$17.95

Soupe a l' oignon gratinee - Onion soup topped with Gruyere cheese

Croque monsieur et sa salade verte - toasted ham and cheese sandwich with a green salad

Creme brulee - vanilla creme brulee and a madeleine

And the atmosphere is wonderful--try to get a window seat.:hippie:

We love Biergarten for lunch. It is a buffet, you just need to control yourself so you don't make yourself too full for dinner. :)

My favorite restaurant in all of Disney is Sunshine Seasons. it would certainly get my vote for lunch spot in Epcot

A good place we always like to go to is Sunshine Seasons food court at The Land in Future World. They have some of the best selections for a food court. However, if you're looking for a burger, don't go here, they don't have them.

Another vote for Chefs de France. We've eaten there for lunch our last two trips and have really enjoyed it. Also, if you're not eating there for dinner, I would highly recommend Le Cellier. :goodvibes

Sunshine Seasons has a nice variety from which to choose. Also the desserts are sinful!

If you're at World Showcase, I'd check out Tangierine Cafe. Its a never miss for us for Counter Service.

Wow! I'm glad to see so many people listing Chefs de France. We'll be there for lunch on Easter!:thumbsup2

I was extremely pleasantly surprised with Teppan Edo. As a rule, I despise Asian cuisine, but this was delicious! We went there to celebrate a family member's birthday and I fully expected to have a little salad or something and then grab lunch somewhere else when we left. My DH convinced me to try the scallops (I love me some scallops!) and they were fantastic!

I can't stop raving about the place (it would seem more convincing if only you knew how much I can't stand other food of the Asian persuasion). I don't know if the sake made everything seem much better or what :rotfl:, but I'm sure we will be going back again.

Another vote for Teppan Edo. If you love asian food, this is some of the best you'll ever have, and if your not a fan....you'll be converted. I recently converted 3 of my friends. They wouldn't even touch chinese food before, but all thought it was one of the best meals they had on the trip, and we ate at some of the better restaraunts.:goodvibes

Politics again, We like to eat lunch at San Angel, we sometimes do a appt. and a Entree and split. I order and then ride the ride...Come back, the food is there...

Chefs de France - I agree with the poster above, the French Menu for lunch is a great birthday celebration.

If you opt for counter service, I would also recommend the Patisserie, and find a seat in the back courtyard. I think either option can be nice, just depends what you are looking for.

My favorite CS is Sunshine Seasons in the Land. So many options & very tasty. Desserts are great too.

My kids favorite TS lunch is Chefs de France. They just love this place.
