Best easy point and shoot camera??

I'm looking for a new point and shoot that takes clear, crisp pictures and good night shots. What is your favorite?

I'm a Canon fan as well. I have the Powershot SX110 and I LOVE it. It's got great optical zoom (10x) and I've taken such nice pictures with it that people have hired me to do photos for them - and it's only a point & shoot!

Consider Canon, Nikon and Olympus. They will give you crisp and clean lines-colors. Don't count on a P&S to also be able to give you great exisiting light/night shots...if this is important consider a low end DSLR.

Being very picky about pictures, I returned about 5 of them last year for a smaller point and shoot. I finally gave up, stomped my feet all the way to Walmart and said I'm just going to get something that looks small and workable for our Disney trip. I picked up a Samsung SL420, 5x zoom. DH and I were VERY impressed. The pictures are quite clear. It powers up and takes pics pretty quick, very surprising. The pics at night were very good too. He got some great shots of Wishes with it. It has a rechargeable battery. It pretty much lasted all day. We only had trouble when we went to Sea World because we had a lot of time where we held the button down half way to anticipate a picture. This kills a battery quick! It still made it 3/4 of the way through the day though. It was only about $130 at walmart, I highly recommend it.
