best dvc resort for golfers

I don't golf - but some friends do - which is the best - OKW or SSR or HH?

My dad hates golfing on HH. To him, HH is full of snobby East Coast golfers. He much prefers the "casual vacation golfing" at WDW.

LOL, crisi! Depends on the day. I think you make a good point about the likely difference in clientele at HH and WDW. HH is a regular golf destination and has year around residents who moved there to be able to play. While that is also true in Orlando, I think you get more of a mix at WDW with a lot of people who are playing while other members of their party are doing other things at WDW. That said, I think there are more CLOSE BY quality choices on HH, but WDW is also great.

Not sure what the set up at OKW is like, but the golf course pro shop, rental area, and first tee are right out the back door of the main building at SSR where the store, restaurant, Turf Club, and check in area are located. My DH didn't have time to play on our last trip, but he can't wait to try it out this summer.

My DH, the golfer, has played golf everytime we go to WDW. We either have our own car or a rental. He enjoys them all! I believe that there is free taxi service from the resorts to the golf courses, if that is an issue.

Everyone in our family golfs. We really enjoy staying at OKW with a golf course view request, top floor. Then we have a really good view from the deck to critique everyone else's game!

We'd love to try HH one day but it's along way from Seattle to play golf.
