Best DVC for "solo" Mom and DS trip?

We have decided that since we have AP's, miles, points, and extra vaca time (for me) that we're going to plan an extra and mega reasonable trip this September. However, the only two week period that works for the miles and AP's are the two weeks DH has the hardest time getting off. And we don't want to use our precious miles for a long weekend trip. So....

DS and I are planning to fly down for five nights alone, and DH will join us for the last five nights. (DH is insisting...I am the one who waffled until he talked me into it. I was able to get my pick of resorts, as all five were available (yayyy!!!). I picked the BCV's and we're all very happy with it. But as I started to work out a Mommy and Max itinerary (of course I need an itinerary ) I began thinking it might be easier if DS and I did the first half at VWL and the second half with DH at BCV. I guess it's the small size of WL and the boat to the MK that is swaying me...

DH will be renting a car when he gets down so we'll have one for the last half of the trip, but DS and I will do ME and rely on WDW transportation. Moving midway doesn't bother me and I love love love VWL...hmmmm....I think I'm talking myself into it, aren't I?

What do you all think? Would you just stay put at BCV? Or do you think VWL would be better?

I would go for it. If you don't mind the move mid week change of scenery is always nice!! They will move your luggage for you so all you have to do is call bell hop check out, go check in and they will deliver your luggage while you are at parks with no worries!!! Dh might be a little jealous but Disney magic will take over.
