Sweetie, I hate to break this to you, but when you stand under the spotlight at the club, doesn't mean you ARE the light. Just under the light.

OK I snagged the Monorail recipes for ya, and none of them sound very good! (Well Purple could be fun in the summer!)

All of them are built in a large glass over ice...

Monorail Red

.75 oz Galliano
1.25 oz tequila
2.0 oz Pineapple Juice
2.0 oz Sour Mix
Splash of Grenadine

Monorail Yellow

1.25 oz Rum
3 oz Pina colada mix
3 oz Orange Juice

Monorail Purple

1.25 oz Brandy
2.0 oz Sparkling White Wine
4.0 oz Grape Juice

We tried the Yellow last night.....OMG...SOOOO yummy!!!:cheer2:

I'm usually a stickler when it comes to beverages of the alcoholish kind. :snooty: For example, I hate it when restaurants will refer to a Cosmopolitan as a "martini" just because it's served in a maritini glass. To me, it ain't a martini unless it's either gin or vodka with dry vermouth.....and olive brine is okay too if that happens to be your thing.

However......as odd as it might sound, some of the best margaritas I've had have been at Chipotle. ::yes:: (I know, I know. A counter service restaurant of all places.) Even the tasty Mexican restaurant/bar that used to be down the street from me couldn't touch them. (And they even had about 30 kinds of tequilla in their arsenal.) Maybe I like the ones at Chipotle because the one by me makes them really strong. After just one I'm usually buzzy.

I'm not sure how the frozen margaritas at the Mexico kiosk compare since I haven't tried them, but they seem to have gotten several votes. I want to try one the next time I go.

Are you talking about any Chipolte's or is there one in Orlando that you're referring to? I usually just go to Chipolte's for the gaucamole and chips. Am I missing out on a big secret here???:drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1

If the Chipotle you go to has a refrigerated case behind the counter with Tecate and Dos Equis in it, there's a good chance they also have margaritas. For some reason there are tons of people that don't know about this. I believe there are a couple here, in Ohio, that actually have it posted on the overhead menu, and a couple others that don't. It may very well have to do with local liquor laws if you go to one that doesn't have them. (I honestly didn't know it was legal to serve liquor at a counter service restaurant until I went to Chipotle.) All I know is you should ask the next time you go. :thumbsup2

And yes..........the salty/limey chips and guac are oh-so tasty. ::yes::
