I'm going with my mom, my best friend, and her mom to DL this august, it's just for two days but I was wondering what are (in your opinion) the best disney souveniers that my best friend and i should get? :)
It's my 5 billionth time to disney but its only her...2nd and the last time she went she was like 5 (we're both 16 now) ---isn't that sad!?!? :sad2:

I think it depends on you $$$ and what you like..
if you like charm bracelettes and such try and find some matching ones, or at some places if you have more money I think you can build them. I think I saw it in world of disney in downtown disney

You could get a drawing of both you and her together, matching earrings or rings. All depends on what you like and the $$$

I like Christmas ornaments. Every time you hang it on the tree you'll remember your trip together.

Mouse ears are also fun.

I always like getting beach towels because they are so useful. Haven't bought one at Disneyland though, planning to this summer.

I second the vote for the Christmas ornaments. If taken care of properly, it can last forever. I love hanging our growing collection every year.

My must-haves...
Ears for the kids
ALWAYS a beach towel! I have a fantastic collection of Disney towels and they aren't terribly expensive!
A picture frame

I've also had my kids do the silhouettes (by themselves) and I think this next trip I will have them done together. They are very reasonable in price (if you don't buy the frame). They're one of the best souvenirs available.

My favorite souvenir that I just got in March is the Official Disneyland CD. It has music from many rides and attractions, the whole Tiki Room spiel, Grim Grinning Ghosts, etc...
I have it in the CD player in the car, and I love listening to it. My kids love it too, and can name almost all the rides the music is from, even rides they haven't been on.
I bought it from a shop on Main Street that sells books, art, movies and music.

I second the pressed pennies. I make them into jewelry.

I am a real fan of sweatshirts, which are both practical and good looking! However, they can be expensive. Jewelry is always a classy way to go, and will last you a long time. That being said, photos and the memories that goes with those are priceless. Sidenote: an often overlooked, cheap option for a souvenir would be a popcorn bucket. You get both a tasty snack along with a "can be used for anything" souvenir!

We have a couple of gorgeous Disneyland Christmas ornaments that we love. Our girls love their 'ears'.
Last trip I had some birthday money to spend on myself & I bought the Official Disneyland CD & the 'Disneyland through the Decades' Coffee table book, both are great when you need a little Disneyland pick me up :)

I say get the ears, too. Last time, I got the headband ones and LOVED them!

What about pin trading? You two might like to do that together. Remember that you can get sets for a great price on ebay.
