Best Disney restaurant for Thanksgiving?

I'm going to be with a party of 10, so I'm guessing I need to make reservations ASAP! Lots of young kids in the party, so we really want someplace that isn't too fussy, which maybe is anyplace in WDW.

I know that this is really subjective, but what is your favorite restaurant or is your dream restaurant to eat Thanksgiving dinner at WDW?

for casual thanksgiving dinner with a bunch of kids i'd also say liberty tree tavern. the atmosphere is perfect for the occasion. the food (gravy, mac and cheese and similar items) are "sponsored" aka made by stouffer's so just keep that in mind. they usually use the same places year in and year out to do specific holiday meals so look at last years options and that way you have a back up plan.

Whatever your choice, you need to do it NOW! ADRs opened for Thanksgiving at the end of May. The choices are very limited! And with a larger group, that is going to make it all the more difficult!

We LOVED our meal at Whispering Canyon Cafe last year on Thanksgiving. The food was wonderful, just a little twist to the traditional Thanksgiving Fare. Our kids loved the restaurant and were very entertained, so much so, that they didn't eat very well. So, we had all this food, and my Dh and I stuffed ourselves to make up for the fact that the kids weren't eating.

Eat at your favorite WDW restaurant. Do not try to get a traditional Thanksgiving dinner at WDW.

Prepare and eat your traditional meal exactly the way you like it before or after your trip.
