Best Disney Planning Books?

I have gone to Disney many times, but only once with DD last March. I felt like we planned extremely poorly for that trip. We had a fantastic time but I want to do a better job of being organized for our next trip (in 4 weeks!). Any recommendations for books? I was looking at these:

http://www.amazon.com/Unofficial-Gu...r_1_12?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1261803816&sr=1-12

http://www.amazon.com/Fodors-Walt-D...=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1261803816&sr=1-8

http://www.amazon.com/dp/1439257574/ref=rdr_ext_sb_ti_sims_2

The last one looks particularly interesting since our DD is almost 2. Thanks!

Another one you might want to look at is Open Mouse by the same people who write the Passporter books. It talks about a lot of things from different disabilities to traveling with little ones. I really enjoy the passporter books.

The one you have in your post the only one that I am really familar with is the Unofficial guide. I think these are a good series.

The unofficial guides are definitely great although I think they are more helpful to those who have never been...

IMHO I would find your information here on the DIS and on allears. I did this before our first trip and was more than prepared. Good luck and have fun planning!

If you are willing to read lots of info, I don't think you can beat the Unofficial Guides. The book is a little intimidating at first because it is so darn big, but there's a ton of good planning information to use. After I found it, it really changed the way we do Disney for the better!

I like the Unofficial guides and Passporters. I will buy them every time we plan a trip.

I like the Unofficial Guide. If you buy it, you can use their website (includes touring plans and a mobile wait time app) for a small fee, around 5.00. Totally worth it.

I didn't care for the Fodor's Guide.

I would recommend the unofficial guide. I have read it cover to cover and relay on the touring plans and tips for every visit. Even my free spirited husband has been impressed with how much we can accomplish in a day.

I know it's not exactly a book, but as an avid Disney Planner I would recommend www.tourguidemikedotcom. It's not as user friendly as I'd like at times, but if you take the time to read all the articles, there's good information. I also love the "best park days."

Unofficial Guide has it hands down for me. Like a pp said it may look a little intimidating but it covers everything. Between that book and the DIS boards :surfweb: you can find just about anything.

Even though we have been many times, when they started the dining plan it opened a whole new side of Disney that we hadn't explored before and I bought a Passporter. I really like it because its well organized and an easy reference. I really need to get the open mouse version!
