Hi, I'm new here to the thread, so I apologize if this in the wrong place.
Which of the hotels at DL is your favorite?

Well I have stayed at both DLH and PPH and I would vote for GCH probably just because of the thrill of the unknown;)

We prefer the DisneyLand Hotel, especialy after the remodel. Second place goes to the Grand. Both are great places to go forget the world! :cool1:

We love the Good Neighbor hotel Howard Johnson Anaheim (Hojo)...it is actually a shorter walk then some of the "big 3" and it has a great "retro" feel, a store, a swimming pool, a hot tub and a great water park to play at for "down time"...keep in mind one of the big reasons as well is their ET rate, you can get a 2 queen deluxe Disney view room for like $79 a night. Pretty decent, 7 minute walk over in the morning, more like 20 minutes coming home @ night:rotfl:

The staff are stellar and the rooms are clean and great especially when you get the fridge/microwave etc rooms. There are suites as well and when they come available with the ET rate they are something like $129 a night, for a suite.:woohoo:

Have a great trip:goodvibes

We have stayed at all three DLR hotelss and each certainly have their own pluses, however, we love the GCH and stay there now each time we go.:)

We've stayed at all three on site hotels, as well. We haven't stayed at the Disneyland Hotel since the remodel, though.

We prefer GCH. Disneyland Hotel is our high second. :thumbsup2

We're newbies and leaning towards Disneyland hotel but I just viewed the comparison chart on the Disney website and itmays paradise pier has a fridge and DL does not. I was really hoping for a fridge in the room.

It's my understanding that all rooms have fridges. Also, read what the Disneyland website says"

What kinds of amenities are included in the rooms of the Disneyland Resort Hotels?
Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel: irons, ironing boards, hair dryers, refrigerators, coffeemakers, phone with voicemail, free wireless internet, complimentary daily newspaper
Disneyland Hotel: irons, ironing boards, hair dryers, makeup mirrors, refrigerators and safes in each room, phone with voicemail, free wireless internet, complimentary daily newspaper
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa: robes, mini bars, irons, ironing boards, hair dryers, makeup mirrors, cribs, safes in each room, clock radio with audio input, dual-line phones with voicemail, free wireless internet, complimentary daily newspaper

OP: I think it totally depends on what you're looking for in a hotel. PPH is the most affordable option of the three. It also boasts very impressive park view rooms if you want to pay for that. DLH has the most "Disney" feel and decor. Plus the DLH is closest to the DTD monorail and you walk thru DTD to the parks each day. GCH is the closest and gorgeous if you love craftsman architecture. More of an "adult" hotel along theming lines, but my girls loved it too.
