Best disney hotel for quick service meals

Best is not in a resort its at DTD, Wolfgang Puck Express.

Then the resorts:
All you can eat buffet at Pepper Market, CSR great value for 1 CS credit.
Both the food courts at POR/FQ are very good.
We also like Mara at AKL for something a bit different.

I am not a fan of the value food courts far too big & busy for me but we did enjoy AOA this year, maybe because it was not fully open. Maybe I wouldn't enjoy as much if it was packed out.

We've just come back from CSR and I agree with Wayne, the breakfast buffet at the Pepper Market is well worth a credit! plenty of choice, we had a few where we 'ate as much as we could' but I couldn't eat like that every day! :)

They also have an eat as much as you like buffet for lunchtimes - can't understand why they don't do it for tea time too.

It was lunch we had, we originally planned on having a breakfast there but in 21 nights on DDP we only managed 1 breakfast at Tusker House, and that was only because it was all booked in advance. We ended up with the credits left over we were going to use at PM breakfast, I just can't eat in a morning.

Ah, right! I read 'all you can eat buffet' and naturally thought of breakfast first :) but I can confirm to the OP that both buffets are worth it! It's just tea time thats a bit disjointed. We struggled to use credits too, especially snacks... servers seemed surprised when we didn't use up our allocation properly (ie, no sides) even when we told them there's only so much you can eat :) :)

Got to agree with Wayne, WGP is superb value, staff are great, so hard working. Other than that I realy like the sandwiches at Wilderness Lodge.

ok, I'm totally not on the UK, I'm just poking my head around here to see if I can get any clues as to finding great airfare for a trip to Ireland, but I saw your topic and I had to pop in...

I agree with a pp's suggestion of Wilderness Lodge. I really liked their breakfast waffle variety (DD had 3 Mickey Waffles with chocolate chips, strawberries and chocolate sauce, and DH and I had some kind with maple syrup, candied nuts and bananas, also orange flavored whipped cream - SOOOO delicious!).

For lunch, they had scrumptious sandwiches, and dinner had large portions of american food - flatbreads, burgers, etc. All was very tasty and filling.

Now you all have my interest piqued in the Pepper Market. I've just added it to my "see it next time" list. ;-)

The Contempo Cafe (4th Floor of the Contemporary) does some nice food a bit different from the standard.

I love the breakfast waffles with bananas & caramel :cloud9:

They do nice pastas for dinner and flatbreads.

our fav resort one is POR. We also visited AOA this year and it is now fully open and we thought this was really good as well.

But as Wayne said and others WG Puck is the best. Their waffles are far superior to any that you can get on resort and the pizza is miles better as well. I think my DH could eat the galic mash potato every day for every meal given the chance..! We also like Earl of Sandwich at DTD..their ginger and soy dressing on the salad is just wonderful.:)

While a lot of the food is park standard, I could not come on here without mentioning the Chargrilled Chicken Caesar Salad at CBR. It is beautifully made, hand tossed, and the best I've ever had.

When was the last time you went to the Pepper Market Wayne? There was a DIS podcast review of it that was scathing about the lunch there, because it has supposedly changed, which would put me off going.

We stayed at Wilderness Lodge this year and we really liked Roaring Fork. We had both breakfast and lunch there several times and the food was excellent. They have a mini toppings bar too. :thumbsup2

We ate there early August, approx 3 months ago. I never listen to reviews anymore, I try them all myself, if somewhere is so bad it would close. San Angel was always getting bad reports yet its packed out every night, one of our fave places. When we ate there in August they were turning loads away. Another is Rose & Crown, one of our best meals last trip yet loads complain about it.

wolfgang puck express is really good
captain cook is a must do if you need your tonga toast fix and don't want to get a reservation at kona

aoa ... oh don't get me started on that one ... we live right across the bridge at pop and landscape of flavor is a place we don't even want to get close to anymore
we ate there one late evening 10:30 just before closing time and it was just fine, but then we tried again at a ''civilised time'' and it was a warzone.
busier and noisier than boma and ohana combined ...
2 days ago we decided to give it another chance ... went in at 7:30pm, we weren't set on what to eat ... the food court was so loud and packed that we were not able to think straight ... after 10 painful minutes ooking at the video menus we were fed up and ran like hell from that place and ended up eating at pop's food court ... and pop's food court was just so quiet and relaxing in comparison (and if you know pop's food court, that will tell you a lot about what it was like at landscape of flavor ... )
that sounds like a rant against aoa, ... well... it is ... I'll be more pecific in my tr once i'm back
