Which do you think is the best for dinner.
Boatrights
Captain Jacks
Planet Hollywood

Thanks in advance!!

I did not vote in the poll. We have never done Captain Jack's so can't offer any advice there. We do not like the Planet Hollywood in Chicago so we have not done one at Disney. Unfortunately, Boatwright's was the last meal of our trip last year and by far the worse meal we have ever had at Disney. There was a review done by someone else several weeks ago...it got yays and more nays. Sorry not more helpful.

I voted boatwrights but I haven't eaten there for a while, I never tried the other two places

I couldn't possibly pick from that list - I've not enjoyed the experience at any of them.

Tough choice, I've never eaten at Boatwrights so can't comment on that one.

Capt'n'Jacks - Service was good, quite a noisy atmosphere. I had crab cake to start and it was fantastic, but had salmon for my main which was awful. So dried out it was untrue, served with some pretty tasteless rice. Dessert was ok.

Planet Hollywood- only had lunch here once a couple of years ago but it was ok. The portions were huge, we shared I think a spinach and cheese dip for appetiser and it was good. The mains were both just ok. I enjoyed checking out the film stuff though.

Capt Jacks you can get the Dual Lobster tail (I beleive its still available)... Best value you can get right here

I was just at PH for a dinner in March ... I think that the quality of the food has gone way down from when they first opened. Very generic quality ... nothing special.

Also felt we were rushed. I think our food appeared within two minutes of ordering - NOT KIDDING. I think we spent all of 45 minutes total from the time we walked in to when we exited.

Very overrated IMHO.

Have not eaten at the other two restaurants, but have not booked for the Free Dining Plan in September (next trip) based on reviews.

I voted for Boatwrights, but honestly none of them would be my choice.

I voted for CJ beacause we liked the atmosphere and location...Loooking out at the boats and water was nice and the place is very calm....And we had a great meal on the dining plan....Our server was good...Our only problem was that we waited a very long time for our table even with ADR...The place was half empty so crowds were not the issue...They did not have enough help to open an entire section of tables...This was a problem because we had tickets to a show that night and time was an issue...We made the ADR for 4:30 thinking we would have plenty of time and we did not...With that problem aside we really liked that meal

I do not like PH because it is VERY loud and chain food is not really our thing...

I have not been to the other one.

I can't in good conscience vote on any of them... I do wonder as well why these are the three to choose from.

I chose these because we think we are staying at PO, and we where thinking eating there or downtown disney. Now are are thinking it may not be to hard to get to Turf Club from downtown.

I didn't vote either, because we don't like any of them. If you want to eat in DTD, how about Raglan Road? Their bread pudding is to die for.:cloud9:

I ate at Turf Club May '07 and while good, it wasn't particularly memorable either. They had a good blackberry lemonade and apple pie though. Their calamari and steak were OK. It was pleasant sitting by the window and looking over at DTD and you're right it is very easy to get to from DTD. Just take the boat over and the restaurant is right up the walkway from the boatdock. I'd still vote for Raglan Road however.

I too would like to know why only these restaurants and I'm a newbie. I didn't vote, but if I had to pick it would be Boatwrights only because we're going to eat there for breakfast. However, I wouldn't do Boatwrights for dinner.

If you are thinking of eating at DTD, there are much better options than Planet Hollywood, and Captain Jacks. I would eat anywhere else before eating at those 2 places.
