Hi guys!

I will be visiting Disney world for the first time with children in December. Any suggestions on best restaurants for toddlers? Specifically a 4 year old boy? Thanks in advance! I've also been having some trouble making reservations, any tips? I know I'm late

what does your kid like? Are you just doing sit down meals with no characters or just quick service?

Congrats on your upcoming trip! First time trips are so exciting. :) Since you're trying to make reservations, it sounds like maybe you're looking at Table Service meals? This is going back a while, but my toddler aged kids loved Crystal Palace with Pooh and Friends. They also loved Casey's (quick service) at that age for hot dogs. Those are both in the Magic Kingdom. Oh, and Tony's spaghetti went over well, also in MK. They really enjoyed Rain Forest Cafe in AK. There are so many options, but those are a few that I recall my kids really enjoying when they were younger.

Just keep trying multiple times a day at varying times to get those ADRs. There is also a reservation finder through touring plans that assists in finding reservations. They let you know when they find an opening, and then you have to jump right on it and book it yourself. Good luck and have a fabulous time with your kiddos!

It's my boyfriends nephew, we have the standard dining plan so most likely one sit down and quick service each day. The only character I've done is Tusker house breakfast but I'm open to anything! Also any suggestions on restaurants close to HS? The date we are going there are no sit downs available. Looking for somewhere we could get to easily from the park. Thanks!

Will you have park hopper passes allowing you to visit another park that day?

Cape May Cafe is a character breakfast at a nearby hotel. Garden Grill is delicious and they bring the food to your table in all you can eat style. They also have characters there but for all three meals.

Yes we have park hoppers, thank you I will look into them!

I'm bringing my 2 year old boy and bringing him to a few character meals. As PP has mentioned, garden grill is a good choice. Hollywood and vine at DHS lets you meet disney junior characters for breakfast and lunch. It switches to Minnie's holiday dine at night where u can meet the fab 5 in Christmas outfits. I heard that T. Rex at disney springs is also a good choice if the child likes dinosaurs and is not sensitive to noise.
