Best Desserts in NonSignature Restaurants?

My favorite is the Cape May Cafe inside Beach Club Resort, walk from Epcot.
It's a buffet and the dessert area is very small, like a kiosk. But the desserts are fabulous, gourmet in presentation. You'll step into that kiosk and be surrounded!! They have small portions so you can try several kinds. I was only disappointed by the fact I was unaware of what awaited for dessert and didn't save enough stomach space. :lmao: Next trip, I'll be starting with dessert and any space left over will be followed up with an entree!:cloud9:

I have a couple: Bread Pudding with Banana Foster sauce at Ohana and Rice Cream with Strawberry sauce at Askerhaus in Norway.

You all have provided much "food for thought" (pun intended..hehe)!

What dessert is good at Whispering Canyon? And has anyone had anything from there other than the skillet? :confused3

We weren't impressed with their dessert selection. It was so-so. We ordered S'more cheesecake but I don't really like marshmallows. Just nothing else on the menu looked good.
The skillet was so tasty though! That's the only thing we've ordered there entree-wise.

My favorite dessert is the Sticky Toffee Pudding from R&C! In a little over 40 days I will be eating this again, I can't wait :yay:

Sorry I do not have a picture, but I am going to try & remember to take some this trip :thumbsup2

I have a few favs:

1. Cannolli - Pinnocchio's Village Haus
2. Chocolate Wave - Coral Reef
3. Chocolate on Chocolate Wiskey Cake - Le Cellier
4. Smore's Cheesecake - Whispering Canyon Cafe
5. Smore's - Le Cellier

This thread is really a best fit on the Restaurants and Dining Board vs. here on the Theme Parks board... and I'll be moving it over there.

Thanks!

Knox

my vote for favorite wouldhave to be the chocolate wave at coral reef. a close second was the desert buffet at cape may. we walked up, put together a plate of variety of deserts an brought it back to the table.

My favorite is the Chocolate Chocolate Whiskey Cake at LeCellier. I am not a big dessert eater (unless it is my own homemade chocolate chip cookies which my kids say are the best in the world and still, even though in college, have me make for their sporting events!), but that chocolate chocolate whiskey cake I could eat seven days a week!

IMHO, Boma had the BEST selection of desserts out of any restaurant at WDW, and as an added bonus, because it's a buffet, you can try all of them!

They had a huge dessert selection and everything was yummy-even the cookies weren't generic.

For desserts (and overall meal & atmosphere), I would go with Boma all the way! :thumbsup2

If you are not interested in a buffet, than I would say best (and most fun) desserts would go to 50's Prime Time Cafe at DHS. BEST smores, and they have this yummy sundae-I think it's called "Dad's sundae" on something-it's got everything from m&m's to caramel popcorn on top! They are tons of fun there too.

Still waffling over the last ADR, so thought we might choose based on the best desserts :-) We will be going on the dining plan, so it can only take 1 of the TS credits.

Would love to hear all your favorites...and pics to go along with would be a great bonus!

Thanks!:disrocks:

Zebra Domes at Boma's.

Oreo Bon Bons at Cape May Cafe.

The Banana Bread Pudding with Bailey's Irish Creme sauce.

The Bread pudding with Banana's Foster Sauce at 'Ohana's.

No pic's, unfortunately.

Beaches & Cream for us.

We don't even go there to eat a full meal. We just stop in specifically for the wonderful ice cream desserts!
