best deals for late aug early sept

dh and I are going to disney for the first time in a long time. It will be our first adults only trip too, but trying to do it budget. We will be going from aug. 26-sept2. I'd like either my first night or last night to be universal. What is the best deal we could do for a hotel and tix. First night would probably be best because then we could spend the short day in universal, spend the night there and spend the next day in universal. Plus universal has more walking then disney so we'd be better rested in the beginning.

Universal is offering a deal now that includes tickets to the park. You should be able to get a room at the Hard Rock for about 229 per night...even less at royal Pacific. Not sure how many nights you'd have to stay though.
