So much for Budget boards.....I recently read about some Dis'ers who have the Shark Steam Mop. Now I not only want it, I need it:lmao:

Bed Bath and Beyond has it for $99.xx, plus somewhere I have a 20% off coupon. But I'm thinking Walmart has to have it cheaper?

Also, I know Ocean State Job Lot had a "famous steam mop" on sale. Does anyone know if this is the same one?

If not, where is the best deal around?

There is a 30% off coupon code for Kohl's right now (which is on my counter at home), but check their prices. I will add the code later. Love2Save30

Not to hyjack the thread, but how do they do on wood floors, because I have been thinking about it for awhile.

We got one and the wife used it one time. She said it was easier to just mop with water and vinegar.

I was wondering about hardwood floors too.

I use the purple duster cover on my hard wood floors & love it. Its great on my tile floors as well, and my kitchen tile is very textured.

Edited to add, I bought mine at Costco. Not sure how much it is there, but when I bought it I had a coupon & I know I paid less than $90.00 for it. I haven't seen a coupon for it again though.

I bought the deluxe Shark Steam Mop with gift cards and cash from our recent wedding. I bought it from bed Bath and Beyond, it was $129.99 and I used a 20% coupon.

I love it, it makes mopping the tile floors in my apartment very easy! I just vacuum and make sure I get the gunk in the corners up with the attachment (bc if you don't and there's dust/hair on the floor the steam mop will just spread it around) and then use the steam mop. my floors are white tile and look dirty 10 min after I mop but at least the shark makes cleaning them easy even if I have to do it every other day lol.

we use our mom's and after using it, my wife doesn't care for it.

we will be buying this one:
The Euroflex Monster

look at this review comparison

Very informative. As I thought, the shark doesn't heat up enough to do much damage to dirt.

The monster has an attachment that allows you to steam a rug. For the same price. I kjnow Shark has a new Vac&steam model with water temps that go to 200degrees, but at the cheapest i've seelocally its $150.

My deluxe Shark came with an attachment to steam the rugs and carpets. I don't think all models come with it, you may have to purchase it separately.

I got mine at Kohl's with a 30% off. That was the cheapest I found at the time. I LOVE it, super easy to use. Much easier than a mop and it cleans a lot better too.

my mom swears by hers on their wood floors . they've got heart pine flloring through out the downstairs and she LOVES it !! ( I keep saying I'm going to get one but the price holds me back)

love,love, love mine

It is amazing how it "melts" spills. I don't remember what spilt, dried and I could not scrub up. It just melted away with my Shark mop and I was hooked. We also have the attachment for carpets but I haven't used it.
