I'm planning my next trip for Fall 2010. I think I'll be staying in a Poly GV CL room. The rates are very high! We're talking over $5200 for 6 nights, 5 day base tickets, and dining plan for 2 adults and 2 children (only one over 3). Would it be to my advantage to join AAA and see if I can get a discount, or book through Disney and hope the discounts Disney offers in the future will be applicable to a Poly club room?

What's the best way to get the best deal?!
Have you gotten a discount on a Poly club level room?

We're booked in a GV, Club Level room at the Poly w/40% off for December. We are using an annual passholder discount. This summer there was a 35% off code for CL rooms for the general public. So there are definitely discounts available for CL. Not sure about AAA discounts... we're AAA members but have never needed to use the discount as Disney has always had a better promotion available for whenever we have gone.

We are also staying at Poly this Dec on the 40% off code. It was offered earlier this year, and the room that is normally $5 something a night, we got for $2 something. Bottom line is we paid $3900 and change for 7 nights, including dining plan and park hopper (not including air) for 4 people. I thought that was outstanding. So definitely book what you want, then wait for the code and apply it for the discount. I think the potential is definitely there for you to do better with discounts.:cool1:

We stayed at the Poly in a lagoon view club room during the spring's buy4/get3 free deal. We never would have done it without that deal. So, I know promotions that include the poly CL are out there sometimes. Good luck in finding one! :)
