does universal have best days like Disney?

I read somewhere, can’t remember where, that Monday - Thursday are good and Friday - Sunday are horrible.

If the weather is great, more locals come to the parks on the weekends.

If you are there for a weekend holiday, Monday is not the low crowd day.

A lot depends on the dates you are going for saying what day of the week is one of the better days to do the parks.

What dates do you have in mind for the darkside?

We are splitting our stay between US and WDW. We are arriving Monday, May 20th and using that day for a pool day. Then we will visit the parks Tuesday - Friday. We will use Saturday to move locations and then visit parks Sunday - Wednesday and then go home Thursday.

We do not know if we should do US or WDW first. I am not sure which one will be more heavily impacted by Memorial Day.

I do split stays and start with the Motherland

It is a fast pace for me due to hopping to the other parks
And it is time consuming as I have an eye on the clock for my fp and adr set ups

When I switch to the darkside hotels, I slow the pace down
Smaller park as only two of them and walkable

This portion of my vacation is leisurely and slow paced

So I end my Orlando stay relaxed

Vacations should be refreshing so that is why I end with UO

Do you feel that universal would be less impacted by memorial day than Disney World?

The only Memorial weekend I’ve done at the motherland was long ago

So I’m not any help on the comparison

Hopefully someone that has been to both parks in the past few years, can better answer how crowded both parks are
