Hello,

DH and I will be making our first trip to US this coming January. We'll be in Orlando from Jan 20-27th, and have already purchased two 2 day park-to- park tickets. Which 2 day would be the best to visit? Unfortunately, we're staying offsite, so please factor that in. Our priority is WWOHP since DH is such a huge fan. Lastly, are there any online touring plans that we should subscribe to?

Looking forward to hearing any advice...!

Sundays seem to have the least amount of crowds...followed by Tuesday. Both days should be fine crowd wise...outside of WWoHP of course.

Since Universal has two parks, most people don't have touring plans per se. Just pick with park you want to do...arrive early and have fun.

The Unofficial Guide Walt Disney World has touring plans for Universal in the back. Your local library should have a copy, but make sure it's the 2012 edition so you get the latest info about WWoHP.

Thanks I've purchased the 2012 copy some time ago - just wanted a second (or even third) opinion.

Just jumping on this thread. We've been to WDW over 20 times but have never ventured to US or IOA. For our Spring Break trip, we'd like to take two days for the Universal parks. We were thinking Sunday (not Easter) and Tuesday or Wednesday, based on this thread.

Does it matter which of the two parks are done on the particular days? They don't have an early entry or extra magic hours consideration like WDW?

Thanks for the thread. I appreciate any help.

Guests who stay onsite or book their vacation through the Universal Orlando website get a one-hour early entry to WWoHP at IOA. This is for any day the park is open.

I don't think they have anything like evening Extra Magic Hours - I think either the park is open late for everyone, there are private events scheduled, or they have events like HHN in October where you have to buy separate tickets. I could be wrong about that though. You can check this site for park hours:
http://www.universalorlando.com/Resort-Information/Theme-Park-Hours.aspx

Note on many days IOA is open later than US. On days they expect peak crowds, the parks are open later than at non-peak times.

The busiest attraction at either park is WWoHP, which is in IOA. If that is your main objective, I would go there on whichever of your days is the least crowded. If you buy 2-park tickets, you can switch parks if the one you're in is more crowded.

Thanks zack. They haven't posted hours for April yet, so I will have to wait for the schedule.
